If bitcoincash gains more and more support from the merchants, the miners and the cryptospace community, is it really competing directly versus bitcoin? I reckon, the answer would be a no. Bitcoincash is competing against litecoin.

I speculate LTC's value to go down while BCH's value to go up as time goes by.

The Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain is moving along processing blocks and is currently thriving as a network. So far there’s been 408 blocks found on the BCH chain, and the currency has been trading heavily on exchanges. At the moment, bitcoin cash is trading at $300 per BCH and has the fourth largest cryptocurrency market cap. There are a lot of exchanges and cryptocurrency wallet providers that have decided to support the BCH network so far.

Interesting that so often litecoin is the one to beat from the point of view of so many alt coins. It's a real testament to the quality of the coin. Even after all these years of being slammed by the FUD from other alts it's still around and running strong. The Bitcoin Cash block size mimics LTCs capacity (with segwit) for a reason, it's a good idea. To bad they didn't find a way to mimic the faster confirmation times or solve the malleability issue. Then maybe it could have claimed to have advantages similar to LTC.

i think both bitcoincash and litecoin have their own community and each of community will give supporting but i am not sure what will happen in the market as we know it is difficult to be predicted. i see both bitcoincash and litecoin have a good chance to be potential coins in next year but for bitcoincash, its still new coin and it needs to survive in the end of this year so bitcoincash will be still exist in the next year.

I predict it too in the very beginning and it's becoming more true every day, Bitcoin cash is a completely separate coin that has very little to do with Bitcoin other than the purpose it was created for. But because of that history that it has of where it came from it has increased popularity. Doctor there's anything wrong with it it's pretty good coin and I think a lot of people are looking at it as a possible solution to the two high price index in Bitcoin has and that makes it hard to bring it to me normal Commerce

BCH has its potential and is a good investment option at the moment. Of course, it won't replace BTC, not until something happens to future development of BTC by the Core team. By any chance, buying a $300 coin which has the possibility replacing $4000 BTC could be very rewarding.

This is a little bit expected considering that there are also huge people behind Bitcoin Cash. Although the simple bitcoin fans and investors of bitcoin are really sticking to the original. But their actions are all depending on the market. Once Bitcoin Cash acquires the high value they would easily invest to it as well.

I really don't think this one will make it to the top. As far as i heard on the experts. Most of them are intending to dump their BCC. But who knows but i myself is not a fan of this so called bitcoin fork.

If bitcoincash gains more and more support from the merchants, the miners and the cryptospace community, is it really competing directly versus bitcoin? I reckon, the answer would be a no. Bitcoincash is competing against litecoin.

Good point, I don't even see bitcoin cash as a competitor of bitcoin. As you can see, bitcoin already claimed it's throne ever since cryptocurrency started, and bitcoincash is an altcoin. Both bitcoincash and litecoin are good, but I see them as two different coins. The down side of bitcoincash is that there's a lot of issue that comes with it.

It is useful for anyone because it gives us to buy more bitcoin by selling it. It gains more support but that does not mean anything. No coin can be bitcoin anymore.

I don't think so, look at Litecoin price since bitcoin cash launched until today, still persist within $40-$50 as bch has been around for 20 days.
Every cryptocurrency may relate each-other as people always invest and cash out from one to another coin, but bitcoin cash increase without cannibalize litecoin. But it seems bitcoin price has declined since few days ago when bitcoin cash gain more support and mine bch more profitable than mine bitcoin, that's why people tend to play with bch at the moment before come back to bitcoin again.

I  truly hate this coin. It threatens the BTC dominant position and the entire still fragile cryptocurrency freeworld idea.
If it reaches 0.5 parity with BTC the confusion is complete and I will sell all my cryptocurrencies and assets and stay away for a while until the insanity is over.

Whatever media boom the news about BCH, I stil not hold any BCH. I buy BCH in the exchanger just to trade and to make profit. Buy at low price and sell at high price. Wait for the media boosting. Honestly, to keep cryptocurrency I prefer ETH and waves after BTC. Keeping them in my wallet is more comfortable. There are many ICOs that accept BTC, ETH and waves. I can use them to invest, BCH? ehhm seem just o dump and pump.

Mining pool distribution is getting worse. At beginning around 75% unknown then moved up to 90% now already over 95%
Years ago when Bitcoin was near 51% everyone started to scream its over.

Bitcoin looks healthy.
