Making profit day trading but losing opportunity short term

This has got to be one of the stupidest questions I've in quite some time.
The solution is obvious;  so obvious that I won't even state it. 
I'd also point out to you and others that aside from trading altcoins,
you could be making enormous profits just by holding bitcoin.  Why take
all that risk with coins that could go to zero?  Doesn't make sense.

Hahaha, this is something very wrong thing you do. Because trading is a place that requires a sharpness and look at the situation, as well as talented do all the analysis or prediction. If you have it I'm sure everyone will turn out well, well life just for a little while so engaged in self worth to be paced life of sufficiency and also have a lot of good fortune, always healthy, rich and not pretentious

As long as you are making profit I think you are doing a good job, if you paying more attention to the market and the chart maybe you can maximize your profit, and after you gained more experience you will know when is the right time to sell, short term trading only can make small profit, but I think as long as it makes profit, it is a success trade

We all know that day trading produces profit in small amounts but quickly. It is good for those who are impatient and want results immediately. Besides day trading is so far the most effective method of learning trading and earning experience in this regard. The moment trader gains enough experience, he/she automatically shifts to long term trading.

Yes what you have said is absolutely correct. I had heard somewhere that we should look at the small profits and collect them rather than waiting for huge profits and thats why i trade on short term. And yes it does gives us experience and i have learnt alot form these experiences and try to not repeat them.
My aim is to ride the short term waves while holding it for long term.

The situation is that i am making small profits day trading. Cant completely say that its day trading but i buy coins and sell them in 1-3 days when price increases. But whats happening now is that the coin i sell keeps increasing after me selling those coins and thats why i am missing opportunities on short term. Is there any solutionso that i dont miss those opportunities.

Losing opportunity for more profit should be a decision day readers has made in they mind before developing their skills in that area! Many day traders has making great profit from trading by following their strategy. Long term holding  Is a very good strategy but not for everyone. Some Traders like me learned day trading and I am OK with my success rate. We should also look at holding a position too long even when price is going against our position. Most times long term traders lose huge amount because of this. Though since I have read others view I will try to learn long term trading strategy.

Yeah you are right. Day trading gives us a lot of experiences and thats what helps us in the long run. I am able to hold the position for long but the fear of losing money drives me out crazy. I recently bought DGB at 600 and now its at 300 and i am hoping that it rises soon as i will not sell it under a loss. I will wait for it to recover its price and then sell it. Most of the altcoins are going down these days and here i am stuck with my money on DGB.
