I dont think the bitcoin is important for the education, but i think the blockchain its a important technology to be studied in the schools.
Am wondering, can you really separate Bitcoin from the blockchain technology especially when it comes to educating young ones about cryptocurrency? Not possible I must say! So then it is exciting to note that while some countries are busy looking for ways and excuses to ban Bitcoin, progressive and forward looking countries like Australia are throwing their weight behind laying solid foundation for the next generation.

It is quite insightful and a recommendable thing to do and which is exactly how and why some countries will continue to prosper and having dominance in world affairs while the retrogressive ones helplessly lament of inequality. I have a feeling other countries will be towing this line sooner than later.

Discussing about blockchain in schools while separating bitcoin from the topic totally defeats its purpose in a way that students will not fully grasp the practicality and use of it. Discussing bitcoin among schools opens new opportunities for them to learn and discover new ways and techniques to fully improve the system. With their understanding and knowledge of the blockchain, they may soon contribute into fully developing and improving bitcoin, as well as other cryptocurrencies as global medium of exchange. I really do not recommend not teaching these students about bitcoin due to its scope, explaining the value of money and other alternate ways of earning profit.

I totally agree with this. BTC is the most successful and widely accepted example of blockchain tech, teaching blockchain without going into BTC would be basically just purposely leaving out the most valuable teaching tool you have.

I just came across this great news,

* Australian Primary School Students Explore Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technology.

According to the article,

"The ‘School on the Blockchain’ Program Provides Young Students With Many Opportunities to Explore Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technology".

Let's appreciate this move and I am sure this would make it easier for next generations to learn and explore this new technology. What do you think about it?
A good way to make things quite easy for the next generation. If this should continue to secondary, I believe the children will be more than the present generation.

Quite a good move for Australia, hope other countries adopt the same scheme of work.

Exactly, while I was surfing on the Youtube. I found this

* 1995 - They Imagined The Future Of Internet Search.

* Old Internet Commercials (1998).

I realised that we are in the same situation when it comes to the crypto based financial industry. This is an early stage and everyone should learn more about it as it is something that we are going to use in our day to day life within next 10-15 years.

Wow nice to read this.
Another milestone of crypto currency and a good sign that bitcoin is really going worldwide.
New generations will get to more of this new currency and in their early age they will spread good things about bitcoin. Its benefits and advantages of having bitcoin in the present.  Kudos to Australian government and hope other countries soon will adopt this.

I really support young generation to explore and know about Bitcoin, and introduce Bitcoin in school is a very good idea, if the children are enthusiastic about Bitcoin then they can come up with a great idea to support or develop about Bitcoin and Bitcoin will still be used in the next generation, so Bitcoin will survive for a long time

Learning about cryptocurrencies should become a part of every curriculum in schools as a part of financial or similar subjects. This is not future anymore, this is happening now ad young people should learn about this new world and new technologies. But the problem is that we will maybe see this only in the most developed countries, like Australia, and in poor countries where people could benefit from cryptocurrencies to help them reduce the poverty children will not learn anything.

It's good to see that the Australian government already made this move, which is a good thing and might prepare and benefit our students for the future. I think if students learn about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, this will help them expand their financial knowledge, and sharpen their financial skills. If they learn about bitcoin now rather than later, they will never starve again in the presence of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

This is a very positive idea for the development of bitcoin in australia because they are very concerned about the public about bitcoin in every school and I'm sure bitcoin will be the support of all the people in every country who want to hold bitcoin because bitcoin greatly helps the economic growth in students who want to learn about bitcoin

For primary students to learn Bitcoin is a great idea. Children will be exposed to the risks and gains not just in Bitcoin but also about investing and trading. Actually, according to some of my friends, their professor is sometimes talking about Bitcoin during their class that's why they asked me what is my idea about it. It is good that on their young minds, they are being aware about it.

indeed if students will be aware about this certain currency I think we can allow them to be ready for their future teaching them about the financial stability
and allowing them to explore will let them to be convince entering the world of crypto currency.

This is a very great news and eventually later on when those children become grown ups Australia will become one of the biggest user, implementer and income earners in terms of cryptocurrency. If in the future cryptocurrency will be the future money then they will be placed on the top ten richest countries. Congratulations to Australia and I do hope that it will also be possible in Asian countries.

In our country bitcoin is not yet in the schools because our country is one of the most late bloomers especially in technology and i think that it will take a few years before they recognize bitcoin to teach and let the students explore what is bitcoin. I hope that as soon as possible, bitcoin will revolutionize the world so we can live in a decentralized financial system.

I think this is really something different and unique thinking by Australia. And this also positive thinking and also student can know about cryptocurrency so they can know about today's technology and how world using this kind of cryptocurrency in present time. Main thing is that school children know how present market going on & that is really important knowledge for them.

I'm not sure this is something for schools to be pushing

Educating people that they can have full control of their money is bad? Well bitcoin is a good concept for students to know since it exhibits a nice quality of being a currency and at the same time being an investment. Not only that, it also demonstrates that there can be some progress in economics to be made without the aid of the banks and the government.

Idk what is bad with those..
Agree with you mate! This is a good eye opener to young generations regarding his to hold and control money. This is a way they know about trading, saving and investing. For sure they will also tackle about deflation rate. In my country and when I was still studying I never encountered such thing. I only frat know it when I'm already working and attend a seminar regarding financial education. Such a very good topic and helped me a lot because it changed my mindset.
