It looks like the wallet development is almost finished. The developer already mentioned that he received a lot of offers from investors but he declined them all as he want to continue develop the wallet and help the community for free, the source code should be pushed in a week or two.

There's also a testnet wallet called Eclair which allows both LN payments and onchain payments.

They've created the Starblocks coffee shop as an example of making small LN payments to a coffee shop.

I once came across a news article about “Bitfury successfully tests lightning network”.
What I don’t really get is, will these so called “Lightning Networks” be implemented into our wallets to let us quickly send and receive Bitcoin? If so, when will they be released ?.

I watched the video, the wallet UI is very ugly, to be honest. But true that I can't do 1% f what he does. As for the Eclair Wallet Testnet why making an android wallet while a very few people use their phone as wallet?

i've played with the eclair wallet. it's seriously impressive.

but no matter how cool the actual transactions are, it still seems muddy how the channels will route, who hosts them, how they can propagate further and a bunch of other things and that's the truly important part.

I think that wallets need to be improved further so that they are more convenient to use. And for the implementation of micropayments in the crypto currency, the mobile phone is more suitable than the laptop, because the latter is inconvenient to carry with you constantly unlike a mobile phone. Therefore, digital wallets should also work on android so that you can use mobile phones for micropayments.

Lightning Network could make bitcoin significantly more profitable not just through empowering new utilize cases like microtransactions but since the required Bitcoins will be tied up while channels are open, making extra interest for the bitcoins that doesn't presently exist now.

Satoshi said that offchain transaction should be just for micropayments
As far as I know, satoshi did not mention offchain transactions at all because he did not consider it likely that the network would reach its current block size limits.  He certainly didn't say "offchain transactions should be just for micropayments" because BTC itself is supposed to be for micropayments.

Regardless of what satoshi said, offchain transactions will be great for payments of <$100 and payments which require extreme security IMO.  The Lightning Network is a good middle ground between BTC and fiat - it brings convenience, and you can still have the blockchain's eternal security whenever you want.
but no matter how cool the actual transactions are, it still seems muddy how the channels will route, who hosts them, how they can propagate further and a bunch of other things and that's the truly important part.
Yep, it's too early to tell how those things will work out.  How I'm looking at it'll be moderately centralised, but that's sort of fine considering that no one in an LN transaction actually has access to the funds except the people sending and receiving it.

yes it is but not so much difficult to understand about zap wallet as if the users of the bitcoin will soon be able to experiment with the best ever lighting network zap no doubt it is the major development in the history of the bitcoin as for as bitcoin is improving transaction through the output of the concerned, the zap wallet is still in beta process but soon bitcoin users can effectively access the lighting network through this program as everyone wants faster and cheap transaction so zap wallet is a super step in this system.

I believe older versions create your wallet in testnet by default. It's not the case anymore though (wallets are by default in mainnet), so you'll have to configure and build it yourself (shouldn't be hard to follow).

I've solved this issue. I've set up my own LND node and have connected ZAP wallet to it. Now I'm experimenting in testnet with my zap wallet (last version).
