Unwatched topics, but they still show up in "show new replies to your posts"

Is there any way to fix this? It works fine on some threads, but doesn't on others.
Some threads I'm not interested in anymore, but they keep showing up there even though I unwatched them.
People are not quoting me.

It doesn't work. Unless you delete your post within the thread, threads which you has posted in and has a new post will always appear in "Show new replies to your posts".

Unwatching it is a different thing and it only affects your watchlist.

In connection, I suggest to use watchlist than show new replies. Also, each time you post you can either add it to your watchlist or not depending on your interest regarding the topic.

"Show new replies to your posts" shows all threads were you posted, no matter you watch it or not. If you want to customize your followed topics, you need to use "Watchlist" Here you can choose to unwatch threads which aren't interesting for you anymore.
