This change from time to time actual is zcash the best for the 1070.
But in mid-August may be another currency is more profitable.
The best way is to look at: https://whattomine.com/

Mine the coin you're interested in.

If you're just interested in returns and plan on selling immediately - https://whattomine.com/  -See which is most profitable coin to mine for your system

https://www.nicehash.com/  - Is great for set it and forget it. Especially if you're just interested in collecting straight btc. You pay a higher fee for this service (4%?)

I tend to keep a lookout for promising new coins and mine those during their POW phase.
And then hold and trade at the right time.

What to mine?  The age old question.  There really should be a website that answer this question.  It would need to address it in a very precise, mathematical fashion.  Perhaps a large multi-algorithm profit calculator.  I bet if it existed there would be literally thousands of references to it in this very forum.  But what would we call such a website that focuses on what to mine?

How about "whatshouldimine.com"?

No... that's too easy.

Maybe "isminingprofitable.com"?

No, no... that just seems like too many characters.

I'm stuck... what should something like "what to mine" be called in a domain name?

Just use the whattomine.com calculator as was suggested above, by unchecking 3rd party GPUs and peeking the GPU you have (1070 in your case), press the blue Calculate button and look for the most profitable algorithms (those blue buttons) and the most profitable (as of today) altcoin that will appear on the top of the list of altcoins given below. If you believe that some altcoin, although less profitable at the moment, will prove more profitable in the future, you can mine that altcoin as well.
