I have the ability to start an Amish Coin in Belleville, PA because my father was the postmaster there for decades and I was a worship leader in a few of the churches there.  The Amish could be moved to donate their "Alms" to a fund to be used to fight world hunger and I know I could unite them to do this.

I do not have the time to start the coin and manage the project since I have my own ICO, but if anyone is interested in developing this idea, I would gladly move back to PA to take care of that part.  You could join me as my "2nd witness".  I would like to do something with the Biblical prophecy for me (Joshua/Yeshua) to have 144,000 witnesses to this project, the Amish.

Thoughts?

I am 100% serious about this but I believe that I need someone else to run it.  I am not rich, I am poor so keep that in mind too.  I will need a small amount of money to live, but they would build me a home there (it would only take them like 2 days lol) and I would live among them.

Please pray and send me PMs if interested.  Take initiative, I will join you.

Joshua (pre-christ return solo prophet = THE SOLO PROP)

On the same serious note as your post and to satisfy my own curiosity:

1. Aren't the Amish famously resistant (or even against) modern forms of technology? Or is this a stereotype that's not uniform across communities? I would assume from your name you represent a conservative Amish community. Crypto is rather on the extreme end of modern tech.
2. How much alms would you expect to gather? World hunger won't be solved with mere money, not even millions.
3. What's the plan? Create an Amish coin and save world hunger? You do not want to add on to the growing pile of dead alts helping worsen the climate change situation and contributing to... world hunger.

Yea, they not even driving cars, but rather horse and carriage... so I cannot see how a Crypto currency coin will be useful if

they do not even use modern technologies like computers. We should promote a Crypto currency without any fees, to help

solve world hunger. {The banking sector are "eating" into people's funds, with sky high bank fees}  Angry

Though it may sound diplomatic, no currency can solve hunger, unless there is a collaborative effort to share the natural resources equally amon all humans. Like any other currency, this coin will also be in the hands of pretty few who will not be bothered about the cause. More than a coin, we need mass mobilization of sharing resources to tackle global hunger.

Just my 1 satoshi Smiley incase I am hungry.

Yes Raven. This post piqued my curiousity even before the techno oxymoron.
Judging from his lack of response, think he was just showing us his sense of humor.

He already admitted he has a serious pastime developing another ALT

Have you approached any of the Amish groups here in Big Valley about this? Does your idea conflict in any way with the Ordnung?

Are not the Mennonite churches in Belleville quite well organized when it comes to doing things about world hunger, famine, war, and natural disaster?
