Hey there

I accidentally sent BTC from my Bitcoin wallet in Electrum to a BCC wallet in Coinomi that I own. I see that the BTC is on the blockchain untouched. I wanted to know if there was a way for me to recover the BTC from the Coinomi wallet?

No problem, export your bch wallet's private keys and import them to a bitcoin wallet.

Thanks for the response. I tried this method, but when I have to select which coin I want, Bitcoin Cash isn't listed.

I tried selecting Btcoins, but the address I sent the BTCs to doesn't populate. Am I missing something?

Try to go to the "BIP32" tab in the "Derivation Path" section and write:

M/44H/0H/0H in the "BIP32 Derivation Path" field.

See if you manage to get it to work.

OP you can try this but If it doesn't works, just try to contact coinomi. I'm sure they will add bcc support on their recovery tool.

Still no luck. I tried generating about 1000 rows of addresses, and it doesn't show. Thank you for the suggestion though

I contacted them prior to posting here. I guess I'll just be patient and wait till they respond. >.<

The "coin" number for Bitcoin Cash when using BIP44 derivation paths is "145"... so the derivation path should be: m/44'/145'/0'/0

If you use the coinomi recovery tool, leave coin as "bitcoin" in the dropdown... select BIP44 and then in the "coin" textbox (underneath "purpose"), set it to 145. You should see the Bip32 derivation path set to: m/44'/145'/0'/0

Check those addresses... They should be the BCH receive addresses in your Coinomi wallet.

Thanks so much! This fixed it!
