Dash will leapfrog from rank 8 to rank 5 pretty soon and then hopefully leapfrog again to position 3 end of this year.
Much will depend on how Bitcoin Cash behaves the rest of this year, it could as easily solidify its current third position.

Bitcoin and ethereum will stay in their place for sure. But i dont think bitcoin cash can keep its #3 there. The most possible currencies for #3 are dash and iota for now. probably top 3 will be btc, ethereum and dash.

i think antishare (NEO) will take the third place and Bitcoincash (BCH) will take the second place along with bitcoin .

ETH, Ripple and Monero will be top altcoins this year. Monero is not so popular right now, but it will be popular with time. A lot of people like it, Doge users can switch to Monero.

Same prediction as mine It's sure that NEO is working with China goverment, one of devs said that they were working for years together. Last actions are proof - most chinesee scamcoins were removed from markets after China regulations - only NEO prevails this is 1st step, we should await next ones. It was at 3rd place already, but been dumped hard by whales and all that FUD in last weeks.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC). Personally, my opinion is such a bitcoin, no one is clearly going to kill until the end of the year, Ethereum goes well into growth, well, and as an alternative from many Litecoin.

The topcoin is Bitcoin and it will be Bitcoin in the future. What is going to follow after bitcoin is hard to say. I would expect Ethereum or Monero, but I am not sure! I think Ethereum is going to make the race behind Bitcoin. I also expect some BCH china future, but I think Monero is going to be better than BCH!

For 2018 I say my top 3 picks would be: 1) Bitcoin, 2) Ethereum, and 3) Bitcoin Cash.

Other cryptos that are also worthy are: Bean Cash, Stellar, Zcash, Zoin, Zcoin, DSTRA, DASH, OmiseGo, Ethereum Classic, XGOX, Bitcore, NANO, and Bytecoin.

There are many others that are worthy too. But these I mentioned are my top holdings.
