Exchanging BTC for cash is a very common question. You can do it on one the exchanges listed at the botcoin wiki (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Selling_bitcoins). But in my experience, I have found Bitmit.net to be a great place to do this. I have bought and sold my bitcoins there personally and no problems so far. Hope this helps.

I like to use btc-e, the site has an easy to use and intuitive front end as well as it allows you to trade in automatic mode. As far as cashing out you have an option to transfer the funds to a few popular online payments systems.

I use vircurex. However, it would be easier to use if you provided a more step by step guide.

Thanks for all the replies. I've learned about a few other locations I didn't even know existed.

On a slightly different topic, I made a post titled 'Bitcoin Future Event Prediction Exchange Features for Beta Trial'. I sure could use some feedback as to what everyone thinks about it.
