Took it's time but LTC is working. I prefer LTC because it's much faster than BTC (only used if you want to store the coins).

LiteCoin price history:
http://www.ltc-charts.com/period-charts.php?period=6-months&resolution=day&pair=ltc-usd&market=btc-e

I'm taking the risk, but I think I can get a good return in some months

The worst enemy of Bitcoin is Mt.Gox exchange.

If we want this coin to survive then we need to stop being greedy. Get the thought of profitability out of your heads. Exchanging WDC is a start but we need to also start accepting WDC as a form of payment. If we can't do this, then it will follow in the crapcoins footsteps.

A lot of sense here but probably will go ignored. That's been the problem with all recent ALTs, as soon as they hit an exchange people dump them en masse and the price typically stays down. Kills the buzz and from that point suddenly no one wants anything to do with the coin anymore and just moves on to the next thing
I'm really hoping it stays off an exchange for a while :\ So that people can build upon it a bit

Anybody noticed that these pro WDC comments are almost word for word the same comments Feathercoin had during it's pumping days?

Yup, but (In my opinion at least) Feathercoin in itself was pointless because it was a 1:1 clone of LTC with no changes at all (sans # of coins). The transfer speed on this network is what makes me legitimately want it to grow, not so much profit

It had a change, slower retargets so early adopters can mine more at low diff...

Hold the coins longer, until some kind of market opens for WDC, don't sell them as they hit exchange (at least not all of them), and this patiently wait can bring you more profit Smiley
If this starts to be traded for goods, the exchange market can wait a bit, and there are no more than 2 exchange markets needed for this, interested investors to pop shops, and patience.

+1 We don't want this coin to hit an exchange any time soon. But when it does we need to hold as much as possible. If the buy orders are higher than the sell orders then that will be a great start. We also need to start accepting it as a form of payment for goods and services. For example, if you have something to sell on the forums, then at least include WDC as an acceptable payment.

i feel like trading for goods might be pushing it.  it is still too new.

I remember people trading bitcoin for goods before it ever hit an exchange. Gotta start somewhere. I'm going to start with low priced goods/services and go from there. BitJohn has the right idea.

Have some Cisco routing, switching and security gear, CCIE lab stuff, was going to EBay but if the interest is right might list for WDC only sale if interest is right.  Got my dream job in the location I want and really don't need the gear any longer.  Even have a 1 year old flat transom canoe I'd almost pay someone to come and get so the wife would shut pick up in Tulsa Oklahoma!!!

WDC for a 2006 GMC Duramax 2500 turbo diesel with lift and 33's Huh??

Let's get this thing rolling...  Sell your stuff only for WDC!!!!
