When will be IGNIS Snapshot?

I'm a bit confused about when the IGNIS snapshot will be. There are sources that say in August and some in quarter four. Does anyone know when the snapshot will take place exactly and how long do you have to keep the NXT in your wallet before you can sell them? Thanks a lot!

That's the point of the IGNIS snapshot, they won't tell you when, so you HODL the NXT longer.

The official statement is at least two weeks after the IGNIS ICO.
This most likely be in November 2017.

Note that as we will get closer the the snapshot date, a blockheight on the NXT blockchain will most likely be announce and this will be the snapshot "moment".

Thanks for your response. I originally thought the snapshot will be before the ICO starts. Somewhere in July/August. The intransparancy about the snapshot is kind weird for a open project like Ardor.
Nevertheless, we can not change the rules. Thanks again for the information!

No, the snapshot depends on the amount of NXT you have. For one NXT you get 0.5 IGNIS. IGNIS is the currency of the main chain of Ardor blockchain.
