A fork of Yacoin i then "forked" around.

source is here https://github.com/Nameshar/OlCoin.git
I am not a windows or osx person, please excuse me.

You may look over the code as you see fit . And if it takes your fancy, mine it.
This is strictly CPU only, No ASIC, NO GPU.

People have asked about the specs, i dont think that changes anything, look for it in the code if you think it's so important. This is a different approach, a "new coin", and a lot of small changes that may or may not change the industry. I dod not manage to change most of the "look" but it works and for me , that is key.

By launching it as a joke, the AWS have already discounted this coin, and since it is CPU ONLY, this leaves an open platform where people can enjoy this non-premined coin.
As for the launch, it was rushed and i will not apologize, its hard enough finding these things and working on them let alone creating a "nice " user interface, we are here for coins not pictures.

Are you in?

happy mining.

It would be nice if these forums had some form of moderation.  This place is overrun by idiots and people looking to make a quick buck who will stop at nothing...

my linux netbook only has an intel atom anyway so I just wanted to try this to learn compiling from source, but this won't work. the original yacoin did. Anybody got this to work, or is it broken by design? Don't want to continue if it's useless
