I went through Satoshi's stuff yesterday and I noticed one of his last posts mentioned something about WikiLeaks.
The Bitcoin founder was probably forced to resign by C people

Here is the post:

" It would have been nice to get this attention in any other context. WikiLeaks has kicked the hornet's nest, and the swarm is headed towards us."

I also think he handed over all his access to Bitcoin to them. Maybe C people realized  Bitcoin couldn't be shut down and they left him but still under their surveillance

For reference (and lazy people like me): here is the actual post - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2216.msg29280#msg29280

@op No I am pretty sure this has absolutely no relation with the founder of BTC disappearing.

C people do not left people if you agree with them as you seem to think. If there is a correlation between those guys and Satoshi, it means they simply killed him and thrown his body into the ocean.

I dont think  that is the main reason why satoshi left and stayed on the shadow and did not appeared on public. After those words that you mentioned satoshi  last post  mentions about adding some DOS controls. In my opinion satoshi has succesfully upgraded bitcoins and thus his work is already finished.  The bugs in bitcoin was already taken care by Satoshi and I guess his presence is no longer needed. You can read this on this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2228.msg29479#msg29479

But it is also a possibility that the swarm that satoshi is referring to are the feds or the hackers. If it is the fed maybe satoshi wanted to hide so that he can continue to work to develop bitcoin in the shadows or be caught by the feds and cause bitcoin to shutdown.

I've seen this post before.  Presumably he meant:

1.  BTC is still an experimental software.  It would be nice to have time to develop it before it becomes too popular, because then he couldn't coordinate most people to do similar things very easily (forks, second implementations, etc).
2.  Possibly that he didn't want BTC to become notorious for illegal activity because he wanted it to be used by ordinary people.

The Bitcoin founder was probably forced to resign by C people
Resign?  He was just a developer.  He only had power because he developed the reference client and people agreed with what he said.

BTC to the moon is inevitable...

read the context Cheesy

i believe what Satoshi meant was the fact that the site that mentioned bitcoin for the first time and with highest attention of all time (by that time) was not exactly the best publicity for bitcoin.

and the swam was quotes like these:
Quote
The article implies that Bitcoin was invented as a RESULT of Wikileaks troubles...  as sort of an altrernate SOLUTION to Wikileaks donation funding troubles.

by now, we are familiar with the FUD, but it was a new thing back then.

Nobody knows whether there was in fact Satoshi Nakamoto, or is a fictional character the purpose of which was to give to the people the bitcoin. Remember how Archimedes said? Give me a lever and I will move the whole world. Bitcoin is the lever.

Nobody can know now.

That month, December of 2010, when he left, governments ware attacking Wikileaks. The tried to cut the donations going to Wikileaks and make them shut down. They saw this as a possible attack vector, because year prior to that, Wikileaks removed documents from their website for a month, because of shortage of funds.
They did this by forcing PayPal and other Banks to freeze their accounts that month. https://web.archive.org/web/20110827113522/https://wikileaks.org/support.html
Even tho at that time, to my knowledge, Wikileaks wasn't accepting Bitcoin donations, maybe they were afraid that they will. So they tried to go after Bitcoin too, to slow it down or disrupt it. Maybe they saw Bitcoin weaker without Satoshi, maybe they thought they would have better chance at DoS-ing it or just slow down it's adoption and/or development.

I personally was not around here at that time but I can say one thing for certain. Satoshi Nakamoto disappeared without a word because of an unknown reason which is good enough to make him leave the development of bitcoin. That reason is not connected to the last post of satoshi nakamoto here but there is a low probability of it being connected but probably it is not the case.

Can you list other crypto Creators who used "fictional" character?  That theory MAKES NO SENSE.

He isn't like the others. He was the first and the first brings most attention. It is not safe to have the attention of powerful people who would lose a lot of money because of you. He would be reasonably afraid to do what he did and any protection he can get would make complete sense.

My reason in this thing. Satoshi is being around this forum and he is watching everything about price movement and how technically it get updated every time. He is hidden because the fear of Illuminatis. If he comes up then he will also assassinate by them. Let him hidden that will take bitcoin to moon and no one can't touch the copyright of btc.

Assassination would still have no effect on Bitcoin.

The worst they could do selling his Bitcoin. I have a feeling he has no assess to his Private key.

Yeah, I do agree with the second point. Satoshi would have realized that his creation, bitcoin could be used for illegal purposes.

In November 2010, Wikileaks released the United States diplomatic cables leak and by December 2010, Bank of America and PayPal stopped serving Wikileaks by December 11-12 they announced that they would be accepting bitcoin donations.

Wikileaks 2011 tweet, https://mobile.twitter.com/wikileaks/status/80774521350668288?lang=en

The address in the tweet, https://blockchain.info/address/1HB5XMLmzFVj8ALj6mfBsbifRoD4miY36v

More than 4000 BTC in donations.

Right after the cables leak, a controversial website like Wikileaks accepting bitcoin might have forced Satoshi to leave. Obviously his/her/their anonymity was at stake. This was one of the last posts by Satoshi on this forum.

But it is also believed that after Gavin told Satoshi that he was going to CIA that he disappeared, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=113609.0

Connecting these scattered information, we can make assumptions, but too difficult to make a factual statement.

Yeah, I do agree with the second point. Satoshi would have realized that his creation, bitcoin could be used for illegal purposes.
I don't mean that BTC being used for illegal purposes was a problem.  I doubt that satoshi would think that way knowing that cash is more anonymous.  It's about BTC becoming notorious for illegal dealings online among the public, which has unfortunately happened to some extent.

IMO it was a response to PC World's article.  Satoshi may have thought PC World associated Wikileaks too closely with BTC.
But it is also believed that after Gavin told Satoshi that he was going to CIA that he disappeared, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=113609.0
This is a similar factor related to the legality of BTC.  But if satoshi was concerned about being arrested, perhaps his concerns were unfounded considering that Gavin and other contributors were not arrested for their association to BTC (the authorities would not have a leg to stand on).  I think it's more likely that satoshi wanted a small community and slower growth at first.

Well, no one knows. May be, may not be. But I think it is better for him to be behind the curtains than to openly roam as the great Satoshi and get killed for his goodness.

Satoshi most likely left because he didn't want to become a 'leader' of Bitcoin which is decentralized.
Had he still been here, I believe the majority of the community would follow & agree with him on everything, instead of having debates about Bitcoin's future. This isn't someone a decentralized, consensus-based currency should have.
