ETH wallet doesn't sync the last 244 blocks! Help!

As the title says... The whole chain will sync all the way up to the last 244 blocks, and then no more.

Need a hand here, I cannot access/send my coins if the wallet doesn't sync! 

I've deleted the whole chainstate 3 times now but it still hangs right at the end. I'm out of ideas!

Nvm. Managed to finally get it to sync the last blocks by adding --syncmode fast to the command line.

I had the same problem some days ago, and finally gave up, so I am interested to know how you did. How did you reach the comand line ?

I can not help you, at least I'm telling you to be patient with someone explaining the case.
I have never experienced this incident, I often do ETH coin transactions and all goes well.
I am very sorry, maybe there is someone in front who will help your problem.

Back in the day had the same problem and I switched with to MyEtherWallet, telling myself that should come from my poor connection, but it seems it was not the case.
