You can tell me how effective the D3 machine is, how true is it that it can produce 37 dash a month? They know someone to tell us how much they actually produce. In the technical sheet of the machine says this and wanted to know how true it is Yea I agree better to be off with x11 mining for now, there is going to be about 5k-10k pieces released from august to october, all of them doing from 11GH to 30GH, its going to be bloodbath. If the above figure of 10K units is true, by the time you get your hands on D3 cost $2850 (including power supply and shipping) in the beginning of October, the total hashrate of the Dash network will rise from 20T to 200TH/s, and should its price stay the same, you'll be earning with D3 just $14 daily, not $140 as of now... Call me a fun breaker, but the further we go, the more obvious it becomes that those who get the most out of this race are hardware producers, and not the common fellows. They never mention the rising difficulty in their product releases, and your future profits are calculated based on a constant difficulty coefficient, whilst in reality it's rising and it's rising fast. But if you want to risk betting everything on red, you can order from the official manufacturer and get first as many as you want. |

Between the IBeLink DM11G shipping NOW and the various batches of the D3 (best estimate I've seen is ballpark 7000 of those sold to date, all due to be shipped by late October), I will be SHOCKED if the total network hashrate on DASH is less than 150 TH, and that 200TH figure quoted earlier would not supprise me for end of October or early November timeframe.
Then the A5 hits, at least one more big batch of D3 units will probably be sold for shipment in November sometime, the IBeLink DM22G should be shipping before then, and Pinidea has a new unit announced as well....

With a current coefficient of difficulty (which promoters always "forget" about in their product releases) yes, but you do not have that ASIC in your hands right now, do you? By the time you get it up and running the ROI time will be half a year and rising fast day after day, and in a month from the date you receive it ROI time may rise to a year and keep rising (unless you get lucky, and the price of the altcoin you will be mining will skyrocket)... Gamble, but do not put everything you have on red... |

The D3 is efficient enough that it SHOULD pay off - eventually - if you have low cost electric AND if it doesn't break first.
10 days to get ROI on it though is a pipe dream.
