So I have been mining Eth for a while and am happy about the recent price increase but not so much with the difficulty increase.

I have been looking at switching to monero or ZEC in hope of better long term results from my gpus.
Anyone have any advice on what they think are coins with potential to move on to when ETH becomes harder to mine?
Thank You!

You may go to Nicehash.com or Minergate.com to mine the most easiest and profitable coins. Let me know what you think. Cool

Hate to break to you but its only going to get more and more unprofitable in the near future.

The amount that we are earning right now with our GPUs is VERY generious and you shouldn't complain.

Compared to March 2017 profitability, you are still making double.

Its free money and everybody is greedy.

Try different pools/coins/algos.

Download Nemos, SniffDog, MultiPoolMiner.

Easy solutions like WinMiner and NiceHash are probably not the most profitable. There's no easy fix. You need to test, play with settings.. And eventually you will earn better than before.

I have switched to mining Zec from ETH. With my cards ETH started to fall down enormously in profitability, a Sapphire Nitro RX 480 overclocked (not bios modded) with 27 Mhash gives only 0.00052 Btc in a day while it used to give about 0.0013 btc only 2-3 months ago. On the other side Zec seems most stable and I have sold or changed my Ati cards for Nvidia ones.

Zec together with LBRY are the best coins to mine at the moment. Use specific miners like Claymore or EBWF because they give you about 10-25 USD more compared to Minergate or Nicehash. I was an avid user of Nicehash but I have quit now and don't intend to go back. Am mining Zec with EBWF 0.3.4 Cuda miner from Suprnova pool.

Absolutely thesame idea here.

Do research and test your setup for a few days.

Yeah I see it is better with a miner like EBWF, in Nicehash I could only withdraw money (they sent automatically to my wallet every Tuesday considering I had more than 0.01 in my wallet) so this was a minus as I wanted to spend bitcoin for different things. Now not only I make about 20-35 Usd more from my home rig but I can withdraw whenever I like from Poloniex and the minimum is 0.001 here. Perfect. Fee of the developer is also cheaper than Nicehash.

ohhhhh nooooooooo, dont worry as it will only get worse if you are mining eth. Well if you have the guts then try scamcoin, many desperate trolls are mining it, however to mine it you need to have more money than sense hehe.
