Still don't believe BTC can reach 5K, then 10K and then 50K?

I don't even know what to believe anymore I knew we would touch 3k when the support was clinched in, and today when I see the price 4k what a run, this has broken all the barriers there seems to be no more stopping the bandwagon and I am absolutely loving it. This is what we all wanted and we are getting it. Though it's all going so fast I wonder if we could see 6k?cause from 4k it's looks like 5k is also coming very soon.

Hard to believe that demand from Japan alone is responsible for the addition of almost $50 billion to the market cap. Just imagine what can happen, if some of the other major countries also legalize Bitcoin. Is there any chance for the Bitcoin ETF getting a second review by the SEC?

We are already floating at $4K so further $1K from this point is not much difficult to achieve in my opinion. However, we have to consider the role of speculators and their actions would definitely affect the price of Bitcoin. Apart from individual investors, there are institutional investors which are highly speculating the market so I am expecting volatility in the price so $5K milestone is near but there will be ups and downs till we get there.

I think that we are almost near $5000.Already,bitcoin price has reached $4072 today.Price has increased more after demand for bitcoins increased high in japan after legalization and then followed by south korea's increase in demand.The main reason after that was bitcoin successfully overcoming and surviving hard fork.We could definitely expect bullish market to continue.But to achieve $10,000,it would take few more months.

80% already completed to reach our first target $5k, i think this month end or next month beginning we will reach your first target. and next target I don't know how much time we need to wait I think aproximatly we have to wait min 5 years to reach $10k this is just my opinion. If everything is going well, then we may reach that target before this margin.

Not so fast mate. Just because the price has gone up to 4k+ doesn't mean that all of a sudden it will jump to 50k.

Long term i have no objections with you. More and more people will adopt bitcoin while supply will not increase to keep pace. And i 100% agree with you that when holding bitcoin as an investment all you need a patience, and more patience. But currently in the short term, things have gone up too fast to be sustainable.

It is completely uncertain what has fueled all of this, as well, which makes me think that maybe this is a bubble waiting to be bursted. I just don't think that currently it has not gone to its highest point yet. It'll probably keep rising for a couple of weeks, and then come down a bit.

Who said suddenly? I said patience is the key so it will take some years to reach it...

It's funny how many now believe it will reach 5K, but one year ago the same people probably said this is a dream, oh well

Indeed, i think that patience is your greatest asset when it comes to bitcoin.

People a few years ago were panicking because bitcoin went down from $1300 to $500. Right now that amount is trivial, and i'd buy at every opportunity to the last cent in my wallet if the price of bitcoin was $1300 per coin.

Each halving brings a new round of bull markets, and i doubt that in the future this will be different as this is something governed by network rules(new bitcoin essentially gets harder to generate), not just pure speculation.

But right now, price seems to be climbing a lot faster than it should be... $5k could be possible this year, but to have $50k in the books, we'll probably need to wait another 8 years or so(after 2 halvings).

I also didn't believe it at first but, looking at how much bitcoin is worth today+$4000,I didn't believe it when I looked at it, and might be worth even more tomorrow or next week. I guess I might as well believe that bitcoin will reach +$10000 by the end of this year. Since the beginning of this year, the value was just making its way up, hopefully this will continue.

Yeah we better believe it as most of did not trust the fact of BTC crossing $3000 and look at it now, its up above to 3.8K Dam that is really crazy about bitcoin. Truly said that one must have long term patience while investing into bitcoin. I have myself regretted the situation a lot of time and forgotten to invest into bitcoin when everybody was doing it. Anyway I have taken care of this situation this time and have invested smoothly. :-)

Japan's legalization of Bitcoin as a currency is pushing this and the end of the scaling problems is pushing this even harder.

Let's say more countries does this :

Venezuela - 5K {They are having problems at the moment}

Greece - 7K {They not out of the woods with their problems}

Zimbabwe - 8K {Their local currency is crap}

Russia - 20K {They have been jumping around from legal to banned for years}

USA - 50K {If they change it's status from defining Bitcoin as a commodity to a currency}

These are hypothetical numbers, but just a explanation of how this could happen, if countries follow Japan's example.

Soon, it will change the world not only with its price but also with its technology. Many countries are studying Bitcoin right now, especially the Japan so in the near future, we will see that many places will accept Bitcoin as a true kind of currency

i think above 10k is hard without proper adoption, we have only japan adopting bitcoin for real, if other country don't adopt it like japan we can't see 20k-30k 50k and other crazy high price, for now i think 10k is the target to achieve, what do you think?

I remember when some bitcoin haters used to say that bitcoin will die soon, that bitcoin will never go above 100$ or above 1000$... Price now is above 4000$ and still growing,  it would be silly to think that it will stop here, of course it will rise even more now.

5K does seem possible and I think I can definitely see us there by the end of the month if everything keeps going like this.

10K seems far fetched and if we are lucky we might be able to reach that before segwit2x due to the whales constantly pumping and pumping.

50K seems impossible to be honest. Maybe in the next 5-10 years but definitely not now.

Yeah, believe or not BTC is heading to 5000 USD. Now it has been 4000 USD.aFTER 1 august the war nodes won by BTC against BCH bitcoin will move to next phase. Unrulled coins. On november there will be war again Bitcoin2x or any names  I don't care. I think BTC will be BTC.
