From the outset, developing a payment card that allows you to spend cryptocurrencies in the real world seems like a no brainer and I made a profit off the recent TenX pump but the space already seems so crowded. Between Monaco Card, TokenCard and TenX, which project do you think looks most promising and what would you say are the major advantages/disadvantages of each? Also came across this project that's still pre-ICO: http://www.lotcard.com/I don't know myself, instinctively crypto payment cards seem like a good idea but on the other hand do they have long-term viability? I mean if we get to a stage where some cryptos are ordinarily accepted at the point of sale then a special card will be obselete won't it? Then there's the issue with volatile prices and exchange rates, and the question of usage, like most people hold their coins rather than using them to pay everyday expenses and that's unlikely to change within the next five years or so. Sorry if I sound like a complete noob, just think its interesting that the space is already so crowded, not unlike the privacy coin space, like I count four cards so far. Any thoughts?

I agree that it's a no brainer. I'll invest in any good solution that comes up.
I've looked at tenx and monaco. Monaco seems to have a great team but their progress is like sleepy hollow since May. Have they done anything?
Tenx is moving forward, which is great. Something about the tenx team rubs me the wrong way and i can't put my finger on it. I need to do more research.

Whenever you are investing in some project then always look at the basic structure and technology that bind it. For investment in Crypto Payment card i will suggest you to chose Monaco. See there is no ground breaking technology that has to be evolved in Payment cards project so the success rate is just onto the Team activeness, the Financial budget. AFAIK Monaco has got the best active Team to back them, and even they are filthy rich.

All projects have their advantages and disadvantages. But for now I prefer monaco. All the decisions are in your hands, please researched before choosing.

TenX website had a comparison table at ICO time showing how TenX was better than Moncao and Tokencard. Worth checking that.

actually i am not sure with the ICO because we need to learn everything about the project and we need to know about the dev. once we make wrong investment then we can loss our money.
i think i will choose monaco, i see in the bittrex, monaco its already to buy and sell and the price it seems too good to be missed so i think, i will try with monaco.

I did a search and couldn’t find ANN thread for Lot card. Any one has the white paper link? I do think that crypto payment cards have long term viability, I do not have to worry about the higher fees and wait a few days to convert my cryptos to fiat for spending.

I can't find anything about it either, I just came across a sponsored ad promoting it on Twitter. It's interesting that their mockup features a Visa logo - wondering if that's a design oversight or if they have already managed to secure a deal with Visa ahead of some of the other cards Mockup: http://www.lotcard.com/images/LOTcard.png

Well, I asked in Slack of tenx, monaco and centra. Nobody knows anything about that lot card. And reply to Visa logo was that it's probably illegal

Yep! The best of enjoying your crypto savings is to get them converted into fiat and then use them. Digital currencies are not very common yet and we all know it requires some good time for this to happen. Meanwhile the best option is simply converting coins into paper money.

TenX in the end has the better project. Monaco was pumped, and the value of it does not equal its value. TenX seems very promising, and has a great team along with great supporters.

All of your list are just a pre-projects or ideas.
Monaco and TenX could become leaders but only if they manage to use their ICO funds properly. For example monaco is still just like ICO site, for TenX card you will need to wait until October and so on.
You will need to wait 6-12 months before see any real results, if any.

It is hard for me to jump into projects which have already gained a lot in a short timeframe. Feels like trying to jump on a already missed train. I am bullish on payment solutions in general, so I decided to discover new projects, which are not well-known by the market. These are the following ones: Beware: This is not an instement advice!

I praise TenX very much for this, and I have seen news that several million people have praise TenX. I also think about using Tenx.
But I must say that Monaco is making a breakthrough in recent times.

There is also another ICO called Empire Card. At the end of the day I think there are way to many projects like this, in reality even if I had a card I dont think I would really use it. I don't wanna spend my crypto's I'm sitting on them as investments. Sure its a cool idea but I don't think I'll ever use a crypto card when I can turn my coins into bitcoin and turn that bitcoin into cash.

I tried ordering a card.
Monaco app shows queue 13500 orders before me. TenX app asked 15 USD, after payment says out of cards. Can’t find Token Card app.

Monaco is working hard to get his brand out there, i'e also heard of TenX too. I don't think crypto credit cards will blow up until a couple years from now unti lwe get lightning networks and payment channels allow for trillions of transactions per day and for cheap. I heard Xapo has something too, but boycott this company because they are supporting the segwit2x scam. Anything that supports segwit2x you have to avoid it.
