Opinions Aside... I just loaded up the LQC client like after 6 months in the archive.
I can't believe I can still find 5+ connections to the network.

However, the point of this coin was to keep reducing the block reward until it reached 1LQC/Block.
Anyone know where the current block reward stands?

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

Last block I mined was about a week ago.  It was roughly 2.7 then.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

Wow... the last block I mined on this pool was on 11/12/2012 and the reward was ~3.52 LQC.
In 7/2012 the block reward was ~10 LQC.

Even at 2.7 -- that's a long tail on the coin.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

If I recall correctly, they only reason LQC dropped off the map was (well, it was an experiment).

Coinotron dropped LQC from their pool.
Vircurex dropped LQC because Coinotron dropped LQC.
People dropped LQC because Vircurex dropped LQC because Coinotron dropped LQC.

Etc Etc

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.
