I have a 7 ghash system atm, currently make around 10 BTC a day. Was wondering what namecoin would do for me? Worth mining some now incase the price goes up in the future or not? I really dont get namecoins, but would like to get involved if there is possibility of the price going up in the future. .

1. Litecoin 2. Bitcoin 3. Any of the Anon coins

plug in namecoin diffuclty into the bitcoin mining calculator to see the namecoins per day then check bitparking exchange to see prices. i think namecoins have potential. http://tvori.info/bitcoin/charts/ works when charts are working. setting up namecoins mining isnt that bad. i have walked people through it for windows for a bitcoin, theres a gui interface to eliminate typing commands. Namecoins have dropped in price last few days but i think when markets stabalize they will go up. they had a huge diff jump, plus they are "used" up to register domain names. also they take less coins to register as the blocks go on. So the potential is there for increased price. also this thread http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=20142.0

pm if you need any help
gl and happy mining

I switched back to BTC mining because at the moment that is far more profitable, but I'm keeping an eye on NMC. Price is about 0.03 BTC per NMC. My 3.2 Ghash/s was only getting 1.5/2 BTC per day, when on the BTC side I'm getting about 3.5 BTC.

My group has been jumping from BTC to NMC and back again for quite sometime. We are constantly monitoring both sides.

Up to you whether or not to mine NMC now. I don't think it's worth it, for those that are in it for the money, that is.
