Will Bitcoin continuos uptrend kill off the Alt Market?

Take a look at the top ten alts, they've been falling vs bitcoin for weeks. Just because neo and a few other small shitcoins have a lil pump doesn't mean alts are doing great. Some people get lucky with a shitcoin and now they are experts lol until they lose it on the next move they make. Than we never hear from them again lol

I can see a lot of bleeding in the Alt market but not on Bitcoin. Surely if this continues the Alts are doomed apart from a few popular Alts that can still survive as Bitcoin cannot have 100% market dominance all the time.

We have seen this before and this is not the first time. That is why we can say that there is a correlation between bitcoin and the alts. I think the top 5 altcoin are always affected by the price of bitcoin. Right now since bitcoin is rising some of the altcoins are bleeding its just normal. The thing is, those who are bagholders of this altcoins suddenly panics and the only thing to do is just sell or continue to lose. That is why altcoins are just for pump and dump coins and just take the profit and go to the next coin that will be pump. Really hard to be a bagholder of altcoins really.

Everything that goes up must come down. Sooner or later, the price of Bitcoin will experience a correction, and the alt coins will skyrocket.

Bitcoin corrected down to 1800 recently and Alts fell even harder. Now bitcoin rises and Alts fall even more. Doesn't matter if bitcoin goes up or down Alts are just falling!!

If you look at USD value if you just held your bags you now have roughly twice as much as the bottom of the last crash just over a month ago, or around 80% of the top of the pump that preceded it.

Regardless of this as several people have mentioned it's inevitable we will have some significant upwards motion sooner rather than later.  Far too much money and volatility in the markets for people with the financial resources to capitalise on it.  Patience gentlemen.

No, altcoins I have followed made big rallies. Bitcoin and altcoins rise together. If Bitcoin make it to 10k USD then I expect Ethereum at least 1k and also for all other tokens similar raise.

You don't know what are you talking about. You only see red color on the altcoin list on Poloniex or orther exchange. That is only effect of rising Bitcoin price. If you compare price of any altcoin with fiat you will see that price has not changed much.

You don't know what are you talking about. You only see red color on the altcoin list on Poloniex or orther exchange. That is only effect of rising Bitcoin price. If you compare price of any altcoin with fiat you will see that price has not changed much.

Most investors here bought there Alts with bitcoin or trade in bitcoin. Many with the intention of accumulating more bitcoin. Anyone who bought Alts with bitcoin after the spring rise is likely severely down vs btc

Tell me why alts are "suffering" when they are almost all enjoying growth in price? Unless you bought alts in BTC, in which case you are trading, then yes, you may be making nett BTC losses. But convert that all back to fiat and you won't have lost as much. If that means alts are slowly dying, then it just makes a stronger case for alts: stop relying on BTC and make your own space in the crypto world.

I agree. Even bitcoin has many users, it can't have 100% dominance. There are people who are using alt coins because of ideas that they're holding like the hopes of being the best one day. Not all people is in favor of bitcoin. Though bitcoin is helpful, it also possesses disadvantages which other altcoins don't possess which is another reason why people switch to altcoin

Bitcoin prices will be correction soon, and I think that time is the time for altcoin to increase, and the increase will be very significant, because the Bitcoin holder I'm sure they also have altcoin, and this will make them start to change the current situation to raise the price of altcoin.

should happen soon. The market caps of most alt coins are small so the money flowing into alts can cause big percent gains in
