How to solo-mine using the Gold-QT wallet:
-Start wallet then go to Help > Debug window > Console
-Type: setgenerate true -1
    true = means you want to mine coins, otherwise type false to stop mining
    -1 = means you want to use all the cores of your computer to mine Gold Cryptocurrency, otherwise type the specific amount of core you want to be focused on mining (e.g. 1 or 7)
-Type "getmininginfo" to check the current block height, your hashes per second, etc.
-Once you are mining successfully, the mining icon will glow

Wow that's a great catch.  Premine is 5% of total supply, but over 68% of supply over the next 4 years.  Even if you only look at developer reward (11 million, not 6 million, because if you look closely, the developer reward is listed twice in the pre-mine distribution), that's still 30% of supply being developer reward for the next 4 years.

Nice try dude.  I'm all for developer rewards - they deserve to retain a small chunk.  I don't have a view on what's appropriate, but 30% is WAY too much.
