I was using Multibit classic wallet for years and It was doing the job, I checked their website and It sounds they have shutdown project and recommend people to use Electrum wallet.
I try to download Electrum but Norton Antivirus removed it because of "Bad Reputation".

It most likely should be a false positive.
On their website I read in order to claim our Bitcoin cash we need to install the wallet on a new machine to protect our bitcoin...

Is there any reputable bitcoin wallet there that I can use without hassle and keep my bitcoins on my computer and also I would like to claim Bitcoin cash if its still possible for me.

Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Bad reputation?  If you were using the correct site (which is electrum.org by the way), you were using by far the most well known and used SPV wallet.

Norton antivirus is dumb.  Get a decent antivirus instead or at least one that you can tell to shut up when you need it to.

Electrum is great IMO.  Super nice to use.

Yes the website URL is correct.
It should be a false positive, as its a new release, the "Reputation" is low on Norton eyes and they usually consider any thing that can connect to internet with low user base as virus.

I am new to Bitcoin cash... Is it something I should go for it? since the method Electrum suggest to get bitcoin cash is not easy for me. I dont have 2 machines

There are a couple of them, but I don't see any reason why you can't go into your antivirus software and handle that profited about 2 minutes as opposed to installing brand new software.

If the antivirus is going to be that picky about files it's probably going to be that picky about other software while it's too. Multi-bit has no reason to stand out as a particular threat to any antivirus company, nothing is going to set it out from the other software wallets.

I don't understand from your post if you are looking for bitcoin or bitcoin cash software ? Electrum is bitcoin wallet and Electron Cash is Bitcoin Cash wallet based on Electrum. So if you just want wallet for your btc download Electrum and add it to the list of exceptions on your antivirus, and if you want to claim your bitcoin cash yeah it's still not too late, for that use electron cash

I was wondering if there is a wallet that can hold both of it?

Do not put too much attention of what antiviruses tell you. They are designed to make Bitcoin look fishy, for wallets to mining softwares. Simply ignore this, Electrum is perfectly safe to use.

If you are looking for wallet like Electrum no. There are online wallets (or Exchanges) that let you hold both coins (if you have both coins now, they don't allow you to split coins at this moment, you have to do it manually)

The Ledger and TREZOR hardware wallets can hold both.  In particular Ledger has handled it very smoothly and have a nice interface to deal with splits (including the 2MB blocks which may happen later).

The online wallet BTC.com also has support for both.  I think you can get your private keys for those wallets when you first sign up.

But you'll need to actually split your coins first.  You can follow Electrum's steps and send your BTC to the new wallet first, then export your private keys with Bitcoin Cash and send to your new wallet.

Electrum for BTC, Coinomi for BCH. There's nothing out there more legit than Electrum for an SPV PC wallet.

Send your BTC to Electrum first. Then you can sweep your Multibit private keys straight into Coinomi.

Bitcoin core is the best for desktop but you can use Electrum as well. It's a good one for mobile platforms like android etc.

I recommend you to use another anti-virus, cause of Electrum is the best wallet I have ever tried. This wallet is available for many platforms, not only for the computer, so you can install it on your phone simply if you don't want to change the anti-virus. Good luck!
