Not the biggest deal in the world, since it was only 515 coins. I transferred the remainder of my FTC and CHN to the exchange to go ahead and get rid of. The FTC (while a bit slow) did transfer, and during the process there was proof of the transfer progression, even though it was slow.

CHN however has just been stuck at 0 confirmations ever since I transferred it. The account information is correct, yet other then the '?' transfer in my wallet, it basically doesn't exist. Again, not the biggest deal in the world, but curious to know what could cause this? Had this been 515 LTC or BTC for example, it would be a major hit. Thankfully it was just CHN

Because CHNcoin is dead, pump and dump is over. The miners are moving to other alt coins now.

Took me a good 6 hours to transfer CNC to BTC-e a few days ago. 5 days is crazy, though.

Oh i know it's dead, hence why I want to get rid of them Smiley

But is it dead in the sense now that its physically impossible to get your coins onto an exchange?

Doesn't this mean that the moment difficulty jumps it'll become extremely valuable to mine, tons will jump on, and it'll be chinacoin-orphanville-v2?

I mean I understand slow confirms. but zero progress in 5 days? Other then it showing in my wallet, it basically doesn't exist.

Imagine if everyone except a few people stopped mining bitcoin, it would be impossible to solve blocks and confirmations would take years.

I understand completely. But there has to be someone out there doing the confirmation work right? I mean it's still actively trading on exchanges, I don't see how someone can buy/sell a coin if it can't be confirmed.

I am mining this coin still strong!  The fact that its on BTC-E means its still profitable for me and I am making some decent coin doing so.
