Both have fresh clean Windows 10 Pro install and are both activated. I honestly don't know how old they are, but are probably at least over a year old. Inspiron is 7 years old. Wow, you were nearly correct, I did not think it was that old honestly. So I put the service tag s/n into the dell warranty status page, and it says the service started in August 2010, so the Inspiron 1545 is 7 years old! I also looked on the Lenovo Thinkpad sticker and it has 11/05 on it.
