Would you support accepting Bitcoins as payments in hospitals, shopping malls and other basic needs in the near future?

Well this has been discussed many times but from what i observed, it is not easy for bitcoin because it would take too long for transaction fees and sometimes the price is always unstable so you would have to change price every pump and dump. And i think not always that the government as the power on meddling on this kind of affairs. Its hard to watch and keep track if ever they will create there own server for the transactions.

Hospitals shouldn't be a problem as the transaction shouldn't be instant but for shopping and as mentioned above, you want to make transaction for that. Bitcoin is not suitable for these micro-payments yet, we should see the lightning network in the upcoming months though and that could solve all these issues.

Oh I'd definitely support that.

Once Bitcoin is ready.

Bitcoin needs to properly scale first (eg. via LN or other 2nd layer solutions). Then the question would be whether merchants and hospitals a) instantly convert to fiat or b) keep BTC as is. Option a) will probably remain the most viable solution due to currency risk and BTC safekeeping. Option b) would require proper cyber-security thinking that may be lacking in the general populace, but has been getting significantly easier with the advent of hardware wallets. Either way we still have a long way to go.

Regarding regulations I could only imagine something like maximum transaction limits, akin to what you see in some European countries regarding cash. Maybe security directives for public services accepting BTC. Apart from that, I'm not sure which actions the government could take without crippling BTC's usefulness. Taxation laws etc. would apply anyway, if recognized as a currency.

Yes, i would support accepting bitcoins as payment everywhere, but i don't think hospitals, shopping malls etc will accept it as payment.

Probably in future they will, i see in my country some companies are accepting it so i don't see problem why not.

Transaction times would really be the main issue here on which those services or establishments wont really plan to use bitcoin to be part of their payment system. We know it do somehow long to wait on making transfers even though its irreversible but the fact that others dont really kind of stuff but if this would be resolved i guess they would somehow make some considerations later on.

Where do you live? I think more bitcoins will be used in the future work of the hospital. However, with bitcoin payment seems unlikely

This is an interesting idea. We know that bitcoin must have a purpose in the future to be used in various places. Including hospitals that serve public services. The government will certainly be frightened because bitcoin has high price fluctuations. But if we can all assure that the use of bitcoin will be very beneficial then we can make bitcoin used in various places in all aspects of life.

It could eventually be used in this way once it is quicker, just thought of a series I saw a while ago Almost Human where bitcoin was the main currency and they carried their wallets on a type of thumb drive and just touched them to transfer.

I will support the bitcoin payment applied to public service payments. Like hospitals, gasoline, or pharmacies. I feel that to achieve this requires a long process. Governments should be involved in various public policies.

Of-course I will support! hope that day is near when bitcoin is accepted everywhere as a payment option, about government making laws related to BTC I am not sure how they will manage to do it like e-wallets are supported pretty much any shop/services in my region and people use it because its very convenient and safe, I don't think there are any laws regarding e-wallets I might be wrong though.

yes i support with this plan if have a representative to go with manage o make a payment method like in hospitals or more stablishments in many more places or country but bitcoin is online cryptocurrencies and i dont have idea to succed if bitcoin begin to fiat for buy or paiding manual

You are right about security problems.We are holding our coins in our devices or mobile phones but there is no guarantee that it will be safe if it becomes too popular. just like many popular income resources, hackers or people with bad intentions will try to steal your coins and it won't be too hard.They can sniff data on public WIFI's,they can find a way to get data from your wallet devices if they get close enough to you.There are many ways.Getting public attention may be good in a long term but developers and us will need to be much more carefull than ever.

Future applications of bitcoin seems growing as there are more applications getting developed based on different platforms. In digital currency network the applications were developed much on ethereum Blockchain platform. Now itself several apps have got their own coins used for all requirements.

most of us here are supporters of that good adoptions since bitcoin really make a huge movements I think a lots of people now start to wonder and with how bitcoin was created its should be focusing now and served as a currency its good to see establishments to adopt this system and allow bitcoin holders to enjoy the service.

I do hope because of this rise, now people will notice bitcoin and plan to invest into it. And when that happens for sure we'll see this mass adoption we're all waiting for. If it get adopted that quick and like at least 10% of the whole population of the world uses it and tries to do something with it then we'll see a lot of great things more from bitcoins.

A very brilliant idea and I am very supportive. With Bitcoin for public payments that people use to pay for hospitals and shopping centers, bitcoin is becoming increasingly well-known to the public. But for security and legislation let the government think to use and secure as we expect. Because I do not understand not even know about security and legislation.

Well couldn't a system be made that would do all the transactions instantly and later on at the end of the working day distribute the fees and send out the actual transactions for confirmations, like a lower value market, for places like grocery stores, small local markets, caffes,etc..

basically transactions would be done instantly to a separate "blockchain" without confirmations and later on, during the closed hours, implemented to the main one.

It is the ultimate goal for any of the payment methods including bitcoin but government and banks might never accept bitcoin as payment method because bitcoin transactions can't be tracked and they think bitcoin is only used by hackers and criminals.
