Graduated from California Institute of the Arts in 2011 with an undergraduate degree and studied in Geneva Switzerland in a research-based degree called the CCC. I continue to work on murals, large format paper and canvases that address cartography. His research-based and conceptual practices span from installations , performances, and film relating to the human experience toward border-politics. I exhibited in Ulaanbaatar, Seoul, Los Angeles, and Geneva. I made land art with the Blue Sun Collective in Mongolia (2012), conceptual installations along the Demilitarized Zone in South Korea (2013-2014), research-based practices in Seoul for the Kim Sangdon Project (2010-2017), finalized a manifesto called Political Islands in Geneva (2013-2015), and participated in a performance group called Virtual Vérité (2005-2017) founded by Harry Gamboa Jr. in Los Angeles. I was an artist assistant to influential Korean artists like Kim Kulim, Yook Keun Byung, and Nam June Paik's video engineer, Lee Jung Sung.
Now my studio is in LA and currently working on an artist fund on the Ethereum platform and currently writing the white paper. Its super exciting.
I worked on an archive of a distant relative who was a political activist which is a 8 channel video installation that spans from 1920-1980. My next project is another archive that speaks about the Financial Meltdown leading to my mothers house being robo signed which as built by my father. She was battling cancer for 19 years in which this essay film constructs the the healthcare system and the financial crisis through my mothers documents.
