I like the cap of $1800 per registrant. Unfortunately I did not know I have to register between 8th and 12th August to be able to participate on the ICO
I don't really know why they did not create a bitcointalk thread to communicate all the rules for the ICO. The official blog at
https://blog.0xproject.com contains the information but is only a few days old.
At the inverse, I absolutely do not like this model. Why the hell would people be capped ? It has no point. Plus anyone can cheat if he wants to, so that just bother people willing to invest in the project. Some ICOs are not creating a thread here. EOS, Tezos or BAT have not do it. I wonder however how they got known

These 21 year olds have been raising good money for their projects, look at Aragon and district0x. Lets see if the ecosystem they are building around ERC20 will be successful.
I really love the model of the ICO though.
1. Clear cap at 48mio
2. Whale accumulation prevention during crowd sale; remember what happened to BAT, it closed in 1 minute because of some fat fingers. The 0x team prevented that.
3. Idiotproof and Scamproof registration procedure. To register for the ICO you used the civic app and signed a tx from your ETH wallet to whitelist. No password typing or shit like that, so you dont need to even think about keyloggers or other spywere.
4. The 24 hour personal cap really prevented ETH network clog, unlike most other popular ICOs

On the other hand....
1. 50 mio USD is a lot, yes it is smaller than the TEZOS , EOS or BANCOR but it is still a lot.
2. Super young people. The team's experience is the most important factor of a startup.

4. It is direct competition to the superplayers of the game such as Polo, bittrex, bitfinex and other centralized exchanges. I doubt they will be happy to list it and allow it to grow.
5. You accumulate 0x platform fees by holding the tokens. Will exchanges list it with that model? Most dividend paying coins/assets have trouble listing on exchanges. Check what happened with ICN and the 42 ICN required to get payed ....
I invested the few ETH i was allowed cuz i think it will be a great fomo flip in a couple of months.
Am i missing anything?
