I had confidence in the Armory 0.86 paper wallet version 1.35 stored in my vault since 2013. It did not matter that the system used to produce it no longer existed since I had the paper wallet. Right? Opps. The paper wallet fails to verify. I notice only eight columns of text.

Armory paper wallet version 1.35 created in 2013 root key and chain code each contain two rows by eight columns of four character items. My new armory paper wallet version 1.35c contains a root key containing two rows by nine columns of four character items, surrounded by a text box. It's like the paper was not wide enough. I used 8.5" x 11" paper.

I was able to successfully verify the newly created version 1.35c wallet, however the version 1.35 wallet from 2013 which contains all my bitcoins, fails to verify. The system holding the electronic wallet from 2013 no longer exists. I only have the paper wallet.

I suspect the text box was added in later versions to make is obvious the printed wallet contains nine columns. I suspect the older version 1.35 wallet is supposed to contain nine columns of four character items, but my printout is missing the ninth column. Any ideas how to recover from this?

Since the QR code appears to be whole, I can use that.

First time I hear about this. At any rate, the last column is the checksum, so all you are missing is some redundancy. A little hacking in python would restore your wallet.
