What are your favorite board games ?

When i was little, we had this game called Bargain Hunter.  It was all about shopping.  You had to buy one of everythng on this list, and still have money at the end, so you needed to become a really great Bargain Hunter....   Love it!

Monopoli, Trivial Pursuit, and Risk. I used to spend hours playing them.

I also like chess, but not very good at it...

My favorite one is cranium, i really have so much fun.

Mine is chess but before i actually learned the basics of the game, I am into Chinese checkers. They're both tactical games and that's why i'm loving it.

My favorite board games are dama, chinese checker, snake and ladder when i was in elementary grades. When I was i high school may favorite games are Games of the General, monopoly and chess. When I in college I always won in the chess tournament.

7 Wonders. I love deck building games with multiple strategies. You play at the same time as everyone else so you aren't sitting around waiting for your turn. Your actions still affect everyone else though. It's long enough to get invested, but not so long that if you mess up, you're screwed for the next 2-3 hours (ahem, Eclipse). There are interesting expansion packs available that introduce new strategies.
