Bitcoin cash has really picked up heat in the past day, as I can see on coin marketcap it's up by 80% so it's a huge gain and now I think that bitcoin cash is gaining momentum by increasing interest of Others.

Ah, my decision to hold is paying off! Cheesy Most were so confident that selling at .06-.08 BTC was a steal. Same mindset as ETH supporters before the ETC accumulation and pump.

This could make things a bit more interesting. Significantly higher prices means mining profitability has significantly improved. That gives Bitmain a good excuse to start pointing some of its hash power at it, maybe gradually more and more. If I were Jihan Wu, and I wanted to change the narrative re: Segwit vs. hard forks, that's how I'd play it.

that's the only reason this coin was created by him anyway. expect increasing fireworks as november gets closer.

I don't believe it's a possible thing to happen this year mate, because bitcoin cash is not stable like bitcoin and it just appeared lately after the fork. Investors was just diverting their doubts to bitcoin cash unlike bitcoin, the demand always increases day by day and fluctuates at minimal stages, so we already seen the reason why it was created due to segwit vs hard forks which created a lot of fears on most incoming investors who wanted to demand for bitcoin investments.

As of now the price of the bitcoincash is 500 dollars plus AND i think before end of this year 2017 possible price of bitcoin cash is 1000 dollars. But we dont know what the exact price of this coin it only depends in the demand of the market if the price down or increasw but I hope itwill increase so I can make profit.  Many people dont believe in bitcoincash but me I believe in this coin but not 100 percent . My 100 percent trust is to bitcoin for me.

why isn't anyone here mentioning or discussing that the korean won is leading this market by far?

it's nearly impossible for foreigners to get money in there so it's koreans themselves. why do they have such a boner for it?

they also led the final blowoff of ethereum by a significant margin too.

this means that all bets are off for the top. i'm not sure how great their understanding is at the best of times but they may not care in the slightest about the bcash/btc ratio.

I imagine crypto being an easy way for 'capital flight' and the threat of war on the Korean peninsula may have something to do with their current 'boner' for all forms of crypto.

I agree. I have been holding since I claimed them.

However, I bought some too, and sold today. Got a quick profit, due to the pump.

its beginning to look like there is a correlation between BCH rising and BTC falling.

Also looks like a head and shoulders forming on the 15min BCH chart - bullish (whatever your opinion on the politics)

If miners leave BTC to BCH we are screwed. Without miners no BTC, no party.

Yup.  But if you're a hardcore Bitcoin maximalist, what you should be worried about is the Chinese miners following where they could make more profit.  If enough power is taken out from BTC, it could be catastrophic.

I have been waiting for the miners reaction for BCC after I claimed the airdrops. Just sold a bit at 0,2 BTC and keeping the rest for 0,5.

those Korean markets mostly have zero fees for trading and all are reporting fake volumes and that is why they are staying up there. this is the same story as the Chinese exchanges up until last year before the Public Bank of China rained down upon them and closed their asses down until they were regulated and now they have small volumes.

this pump i suppose has so little with them though.
it is just the difficulty reduction thing with all the advertising that they have been doing so far. they even mined 1 fake 8 MB block to make the news Cheesy

its beginning to look like there is a correlation between BCH rising and BTC falling.

It's too early to say for the long term. In the short term, this is what I expected. I figured that Roger Ver and company just needed to prop price long enough until BTC finally had a correction. Once BTC corrects in one of these massive rallies (not the crash, but a correction), it's often time to look at alts. And the most interesting alt right now is BCH, since it's new and hasn't been pumped.

interesting that this has been moved to the alt section....theymos has spoken

Not surprising. Most of the BCH threads are eventually getting moved. But after seeing the "Theymos's list of altcoins with some technical merit" thread that he started a few days ago... maybe the guy is coming around to altcoins a bit! Smiley

Do you mean we are not allowed to discuss Bitcoin Cash in the altcoin section?

Bitcoin Cash, separated from bitcoin on August 1, although it has a high cost, but its support will not be permanent. It is better to get rid of this coin. Moreover, given the above, his course continues to fall. If you continue to hold it, you can lose money

I'm also saying this before but its value now isn't joking. There are bitcoin miners that shift to BCH now because its favorable to them. I remember before the fork I keep on saying that this coin is useless but if you are up to profit taking, this will give you a good shot.

Every coin that is not bitcoin is an altcoin. This altcoin is different only because it is attempting to cash in on the good name of bitcoin (no pun intended).

Agreed 100%. Its the biggest altcoin pump job we've ever seen -- but not much more. Who is actually using it to buy and sell things?
