As long as you make sure that you're clicking on a proper link once you Google something you should be fine.
That is the problem. Not only do scam links appear "proper", but people also tend to click on the first link on the page. The first links are generally ads, so scammers buy ads containing their scam links.

This is what I use wallet and very high of my trusted rate here. I've been using it for a while and I have no problem here. Its features are also great because you can buy different types of altcoins here that are supported by their wallet. So it's trusted and I recommend it to my friends.

SINCE I SEE many of users getting scammed, due to phishing sites Good work OP and just in case others do not bookmarks this thread they could use Google search by adding bitcointalk to the search to get a clean result with legit links, this method as worked well for me and I know others could benefit from it to.... How to use, for example. "ABCD coin" you simply Google search "ABCD coin bitcointalk" and results will show announcement thread and other threads and if a scam thread appears you could visit the thread to know the latest happenings.

Not in the google and cryptocurrency is legitimate you just read before you click the links because maybe you become scam and get a virus. Its good to check the information about you wants wallet before you click because that is for the sake of your coins, don't trust easily because maybe in the end you regrets.

Even though there is a sense of security in these wallets, I am a huge fan of the offline wallets because the person holding the offline wallet is solely responsible for his actions. Yes, it is true that physical security is also needed while maintaining the funds in offline wallets like a paper wallet or hardware wallet. However, as a beginner, web wallet is easier to use and understand how Bitcoin works but holding more than 5% of total funds on any web wallet or exchange is not recommended unless needed.
