Hey Guys,

all this new firms doing ICOs theese days.
i did not read anythink about IP or Patents in there Whitepapers. Did you?

Is all open Source in this universe and if they got enough ICO money they have no fear about copycat?

So you can fork their Blockchains?
or use them for an other project (with some new features maybe)?

just know that the banks are getting some patents in this field
would be good to know

thanks

Patents are not for everyone.
Its take a lot of fortune to file patents unless your employer is supporting it.
Filing patents has been never a easy job for common man but joke for big players.
Dont amaze if  you see patents on nose or teeths: Nose as a facility to tunnel air from atmosphere to human body or teeth as device to turn items to small particles.
There have been thousands of joke patents. Big player file some joke patents first then they wait for someone to make it some actual use then they come back to picture with patent.
Now and then we hear of patents on blockchains or Dledgers not one but several patents on single day.
