Few ways I know of:

- Just hold btc

- many altcoin air drops is based on BTC like stellar and byteball, the more BTC you have more you will get free coins.

- trading, one of my friends does full time trading with Bitcoin and alt coin.

Hold, man, hold. The way Bitcoin is moving now if you're trading you're more likely to miss the moves. The next option that will earn you some more coin while you're holding is to keep your coin (or some of it) with an online wallet that pays you interest. There are only a few that offer a realistic amount of interest for your coin on balance.

Well, BTC trading are currently very profitable with the high volatility. The problem is we do not have a lot of dips at the moment, because the price is just going upwards. So you will be making money while you are climbing the ladder. This strategy is a bit more risky, because the higher it climb, the bigger the correction will be.

If it crash down, you will have to wait a lot longer to reach those price levels again to recoup your loss or to make a slight profit.

It is boring, but profitable in the long term. ^smile^

I usually hold btc though price is currently high I know for sure I can earned profit on btc. I save it for a long term investment. This is the only way for now I can earn btc is to save it.

Making money with only bitcoin takes you to the fact of saving it in your cold wallet storage. Just imagine if you would have saved your bitcoin a month ago or something then you could have earned at the least two times whatever you were holding at that time.


If you don’t like the idea of holding and think that it is risk then you can also go for mining of bitcoin. However this will cost you big set up of rigs and all the knowledge for it. Refer to the mining section if you are interested in this one.


There are many other ways already discussed on the forum, please go through all the topics and you will find more easy ways too. There is no point describing it here again and again. :-)

I think that your wants are not that safe and fast to reach your goal to make money with only bitcoin  because, you need to expand your coverage for your money in order to make money. If you will not touch the alts or other strategies like long term holding then how can you make money with your bitcoin if those things that you don't want are the key for you to make a lot of money?

Or try some services in the forum that pays in btc if you dont have any btc on you. Signature campaign, twitter or even fb campaign. These are some common servives in here. There are also referral links that gives out small amounts of btc and even captchas. Your own risk as long as you know at least basic knowledge in trading. There are still a lot of services in the forum and that could give you a head start on btc.

yes this is one of many thing that you can do to make money with bitcoin. i am buy if i see there is a good spread like different in price between buying order and selling order and there is a good movement from bitcoin itself. beside that i am always watching and analyze the chart before i execute the order. sometimes i used order buy and waiting for a while and from this, i can make order sell in the price i want.

Mostly users of bitcointalk, they are getting money from trading altcoins especially for the users who doesn't have much money,
it has big chance to getting money with small capital, if you don't like trading altcoins
or you don't want your bitcoins touching altcoins, you can trade bitcoins to fiat money and you must use large of capital to make money, in bitcoins without investing into altcoins and ICOs.

Who told you not to mess with altcoins? It may not be a goods idea to mess with altcoins right now, but I don’t see why you shouldn’t mess with altcoins in general. Trading is a great way to make profit. Why are you casting it aside like that? Anyways if you do not want to touch altcoins then you could buy in the dips selling at the hypes and yeah, rinse and repeat. That in itself is a good method to make Bitcoin, but is kinda useless at the moment, because Bitcoin price is just increasing and increasing. So buying a dips is kinda ineffective at the moment, but you could generally use the same concept in other scenarios. But there are other ways to make Bitcoin without touching altcoins. I`m messing with altcoins, and for weeks most of altcoins are going down, most of them lost 50% of it`s value. I`m a holder and I think price will recover, yesterday I bought more on this very low price, but price can go more down, we never know what will happen. Its my experience with altcoins, maybe this can help you.
Just with bitcoin is possible to earn but buy at when its down and sell when its high its not so easy, you need to practice that. Bitcoin fluctuate a lot, I just take a look cause of this post and:
Today's High$4,483.55  Today's Low$4,027.31 at coindesk.
You could earn today 400$ on each bitcoin, if you had 10 you could earn 4.000$, theoretically.

On the way that you have mentioned its just the basic thing on doing make short tradings on bitcoin which you can actually make more bitcoin on that case but still depending on how you gonna make trades.Actually there are lots of ways on how to earn BTC either on buying or earning without a single cent being used on your pocket. You can possibly earn btc with just your hard work and skills.

It's hard for you to earn bitcoin without touching alt coin and not holding bitcoin for a long time. The only way for you to earn bitcoin without touching altcoin is  a long term investment or long term holding but you've said you're not into long term investment. I think the best option for you is to join a lending service where in you're going to lend someone on it and after 2 days (it's up to you or it's up the site) you're going to recived what you lend with a interest. But if you don't want lending since it's risky you can do a service like

If it is just trading, anything paired with bitcoin can make you money. whether it is alts or fiat, so why would you avoid alts? Yes, the traders will earn money in any currency, but no other coin will give you this much profit in a single day. Look at that profit 1 BTC $400 profit in one day.
