but for maximum profit you can gain, investing must be from earlier of 2015 or so. because the price is still lower, but investing now still gaining some profit.

I don't think it's that hard to understand, just keep holding your bitcoins for a long time and when you are convinced that they reached a value where you have made good profits then convert them to fiat if you wish so. Even when you do altcoins trading you are making money with bitcoin only in my opinion because you measure the gains or loss in bitcoin so I don't think it's any different from making money with bitcoin only.

It is harder nowadays, but I think it is yet possible to do faucets all the while you surf the internet. Get some thousand sathoshis. Buy good altcoins in dips, and sell for BTC again. Slow but you can get some BTC for free.

Then of course you can invest fiat and sell higher, buy a little lower and so on.

If you want to earn a good profit with bitcoin without touching altcoins then you can just purchase a large amount of bitcoin and hold it untill the price is good enough to sell it. This is a lengthy process and will take several months. You can also earn profit in gambling if you can really gamble. (Try gambling on your risk). You can also earn some bitcoins by investing or lending them on daily interest basis. But i think involving altcoins for earning more profit will be good. You can also earn bitcoins by mining.

I prefer to make money with BTC the best and smartest way! For me, 90% of my work is in relation with cryptocurrencies. Love to do trading, but mind it, always do your own research and find the good ones. Don't crazy when the token(s) you have been hold goes down.

The key would be to know when the right time is to buy and sell bitcoins. The good thing there is that since btc is pretty well known, big dips would be hard to miss and, knowing that its certain to recover, it would be a great opportunity to stock up. Btc's price doesn't all the time move dramatically so if you see a big drop, don't waste time and buy.

sometimes I do gambling. I earned 0.5 btc in gambling and I can say that 0.5 btc is really big profit. Gambling is really profitable but is is also very risky. Luck is a great factor in gambling.

There are lots of ways to make money with btc, but we know that to make money also requires money, so if you’re ready to use your money to buy resources and other requirements you are never going to make money.

Through joining the signature campaign, signature campaign it is the one source of earning money in  btc so if you done participating and completing the requirements of  campaign a few days or weeks if you done converting it to the other currency you may claim your money coming from signature campaign this the other way to make some money in btc.

That's the only way that I know on earning or making money from Bitcoin without the involvement of altcoins. I am earning Bitcoin and income from campaigns, but the tokens rewarded to the participants are altcoins that can be converted into Bitcoin or fiat. So the thing here is to directly buy bitcoin, hold it for a long period of time as you've mentioned, repeat.

Mostly users of bitcointalk, they are getting money from trading altcoins especially for the users who doesn't have much money,
it has big chance to getting money with small capital, if you don't like trading altcoins
or you don't want your bitcoins touching altcoins, you can trade bitcoins to fiat money and you must use large of capital to make money, in bitcoins without investing into altcoins and ICOs.

The way that you've said is the most appropriate way to earn money from Bitcoin, which is investing. Buying in dumps or whenever its value fall, is a good strategy and to hold it for a long period of time. Since Bitcoin's value is increasing, your profit will also increase because both are proportional. In that way you won't need to do something with altcoins.

               Honestly dude there is always much risk in trading btc to usd, and vice versa, and you prefer on short term trades or swing trades, well honestly you cannot guarantee earning much with it. As for many people bitcoin is much advisable to be hold for long term, that is why there is what we called alternate coins you can touchfor trading, and i think your idea is quiet impossible.
