What do you think is the best coin in the World?  Bitcoin or Etherium? Many said, Etherium is the best coin ever made, many also said that no coin can beat the first and most powerful coin in the planet. Hmmmm...  What do you think?

Cryptos now have specialties where they can be number 1 in their categories for example monero is the best for privacy, other coins are been used for medical aid, other coins are good for gaming platforms.

All coins have different strengths and purposes but In terms of market cap between the two cryptocurrencies bitcoin is already number 1 according to https://coinmarketcap.com

If I had to choose between the two, it would be Bitcoin. Even after the all questioned split, it is still proving to be a one of its kind by still rising after all the chaos. Ethereum has a lot of controversy surrounding itself so don't expect it to make it to the top.

Right now, I think there is Bitcoin and altcoins. I don't see any coin surpassing BTC, and as far as altcoins go, right now Etherium is my favorite, and the number one altcoin. I would keep an eye on byteball as well though. It seems to be doing well, but they still don't have a lot of volume, but I will keep some though, because I think they will gather interest in the community.

Yes question is interesting, but answer for this is different because Etherium is new Altcoin, yes, it is good coin with good price, but of course bitcoin is the first coin on crypto world and for today there is no coin stronger and more stable than bitcoin.  The number1 coin next few years will be Bitcoin

Ethereum may has some fancy technologies, it doesn't mean it's superior than Bitcoin. On the contrary, Bitcoin is much more secure and truly decentralized, which is a key factor of blockchain technology. I personally prefer Bitcoin than Ethereum.

These two crypot-currencies have a radically different purpose. Bitcoin is meant to be a store of value and payment system, while Ethereum is a decentralised world-computer.

Without the bitcoin technology, there wouldn't be any other coins, so with that in mind, only bitcoin is the number 1 coin.

And beside that, bitcoin is also the most well known coin for 'regular' people. My family for example only knows bitcoin.

Obviously its bitcoin. Though feature per feature, many would argue that etherium has better in general, i don't think it can match up to bitcoin's status right now nor in the near future. Its a big factor that btc pioneered crypto and its way more popular right now. Etherium's following is also high if you compare to to all other altcoins, well except btc.

Bitcoin is Awesome! Bitcoin is the king of crypto and most popular among investors so far. It released in early 2009. Ethereum gets the number 1 among altcoins and second largest among crypto. It created mid-2015. I don’t like to compare bitcoin and Ethereum. But here are some of this thread ;

The first cryptocurrency is Bitcoin after that all these altcoins will arrive. Based on this Bitcoin many altcoins are created and in that ETH also one coin, but now this coin is giving competition to Bitcoin not in price wise but in project wise. Many big investors are supporting ETH to make that coin populer. Let's see how ETH will compete to BTC, and it's replaced BTC or not.

It depends on what category are you talking about. A lot of users are using bitcoin and some are also keeping etherium. This two coins are not in a competition because each has different characteristics. Bitcoin and etherium are good investments to keep. Bitcoin is getting pumped nowadays and who knows how much will it go.

I think at some point ETH will overtake BTC in marketcap. I also think that at some point XRP will have a huge and sudden increase that will put it up there as a contender as well.
But these coins all do different things. I think bitcoin will remain the most important coin, even if it's not number 1 in cap.
