Swiss bank used to be infamous, but I am wondering if bitcoins has overtaken it.

Also, I am thinking that there are more legitimate reasons to own bitcoins than store cash in the Swiss Bank.

Swiss bank is something of the past. They dropped bank secret in the last two years, so more and more people are avoiding it now, so yes, I think that Bitcoin is getting more traction now, and that someday it will be the premium way to hide money.

Crypto currency, in particular bitcoin, in a digital wallet now, it turns out, is more safely stored than in a Swiss bank. In addition, due to the constant increase in the bitcoin rate, it yields much more profit than a deposit in a Swiss bank.

I am sure most very rich people have money in Swiss banks to avoid paying taxes so it is unlikely Bitcoin will cross this market cap soon, but probably it will do so in the next 5-10 years. Cool

Also, I am thinking that there are more legitimate reasons to own bitcoins than store cash in the Swiss Bank.

In what aspect? In the rate of profit generation?

If it is then Bitcoin has surpassed any type of bank ever exist. What bank can give a 50% increase in your asset within just days? NONE. So Bitcoin is incomparable to any bank there is regarding this aspect. Why compare Bitcoin to a bank when Bitcoin can give you the opportunity to be a bank to yourselves.

Storing cash in Swiss Bank means putting black money in the mouth of those who are ready to eat it someday (possible scenario, right?!?)
Having Bitcoins has something to do with the store of value as mentioned even on the first page of google when you search for it because whether you have not increased your number of bitcoins, but the value of your fiat will increase and that should actually be counted as a simple interest that you are getting just by holding it for longer term.

yes that is right that swess banks are famous for keeping the money of the people but i think now people are changing their mind and hope that very soon their number will increase too much and most of the richest people of the world will use bitcoin for saving their money and investment, because bitcoin is also a good investment.

Swiss bank is something a secret balance of your money, so i think bitcoin isnt surpassing that market cap yet, billionaires hide their money there.
Not for now but in the coming years bitcoin will devour that bank.

Maybe this scenario will happen with people keeping their funds at Swiss banks, to transfer them into BTC. Also, do they announce their monthly/yearly market cap? We could compare that with Bitcoin Marketcap using such data.

bitcoins do have many users and a lot of money , it's value just crossed four thousand dollars , bitcoins have a lot of advantages but they are not globally accepted , while Swiss banks are globally accepted .
bitcoins do provide us more space to open up an financial freedom , while using bitcoins we do not need a third person between us and our money like the bank do .
we are responsible for the transaction and all transfer tax.
people may start using bitcoins instead of Swiss bank in future if they fell safe with bitcoins rather than a bank .

That ability to earn a profit off of bitcoin, or potential rather, is far greater than holding money in a swiss bank account. I'm pretty sure the anonymity of bitcoin would also supercede it. I don't really think many people use Swiss banks anymore for off-shore banking. As most people prefer to actually hold real money, they would hold it in some other sort of off-shore account that's less known meaning germany or the netherlands. Maybe even Canada...

After the Swiss banks began to cooperate with American intelligence agencies, they have completely lost my identity. Still don't understand why they did it. But it is a fact that bitcoin is much better. I'm afraid that all competitors join together to fight against bitcoin, and now he is not ready to serious war.

Don't know how much marketcap swiss bank have but soon bitcoin will be bigger than payment giant Paypal.

Currently paypal's marketcap is 72 billion USD https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/PYPL/key-statistics?p=PYPL

while bitcoin have total marketcap of 68 billion USD https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

Its only a matter of time before the market cap of PayPal will be surpassed and the same way Gold was relegated to the background and I think this is what is giving bitcoin the attention from the former CTO of PayPal that I read earlier on his he tried to compare the two and its also a further test of the confidence we all have in bitcoin and that competitors cannot continue to ignore the presence of bitcoin in the financial space as denial at this time will be a wrong decision to be made.
