Nebule is a fraud resistant license ledger. At first glance, it is a blockchain that incorporates tools for easy licensing deployment. On the other hand, it is a multi-functional blockchain that allows virtual environments (called Nebula) that can be privately interacted using Nebules.
To put it simply, Nebules are the token that runs the Nebula. The current fee for deploying a Nebula is 1 Nebule.
What is a Nebula
Think of Nebula as a sandbox that does not interact with other parts of the blockchain. It is like a private blockchain that can only be accessed by those with permissions. You can deploy licensers, called Licenseers to your personal Nebula.
What are Licenseers?
Licenseers are license prerequisites that can be used to secure your application (Decentralized, or non-decentralized). For example, if you were developing a game that you don’t want pirated, you can create your own Nebula and deploy a Licenseer to your personal Nebula. Your game can then ‘speak’ to the Licenseer. This means that you can sell your game right on the blockchain- and there are no keys.
Keys/Licenses
Keys and licenses are tied to only one address, and will encrypt all files with that address. This is the main principle surrounding these keys and licenses, and it is all decentralized. This protocol ensures that reverse engineering and keygens are obsolete. There cannot be any patching done to the application on the computer due to the encryption of the private key, and the Nebula key which only the developers have. This multi-signature like system also ensures that the developer can revoke/ban anyone from using the application. If a team releases a crack for an application, it will reveal the license used to download, encrypt, and/or decrypt that information. With that information available, the license can be revoked remotely and all cracking using that key will be obsolete.
Please note you can only revoke on the Nebula you have permission in. This is why Nebula’s are private. You can set your privacy settings of the Nebula too.
License Sharing
License Sharing, although not recommended, can be set by the developers of their Nebula. This ensures that licenses can be shared among accounts (the maximum shares can be set on chain). The owner/developer of the chain can also transfer access.
Other Applications
Nebules can be used in various industries such as

- Gaming
- Development
- Insurance
- DRM Media
- Phones, Laptops, and other IoT

[You can set up your own Nebula and program your computer to wipe itself when it doesn't detect a license on the Blockchain on connection to the internet]

Our Team
We are a tight inter-connected community wanting to change the world step by step. We believe the end of piracy would mean better incentives for developers all around the world.
In 2012, all four of us graduated from the University of East Anglia in the school of computer sciences. Our passion in Blockchain technology has grown to the point where we feel the need to contribute to a project that will shape our future.

The Initial Coin Offering
The Initial Coin Offering’s purpose is to not only raise funds for the further development of our protocol, but to also show the demand for this project.
A fair launch - We will only have 1,000 coins between the four of us
300 Million Nebule (* non mineable) will be available in this ICO event. The amount you receive will be proportional to your investment to the total of everyone else’s.
