Bitcoin Barometer

Das Barometer tut im Grunde nichts anderes, als das Verhältnis der Trading-Volumen einer gegebenen Zeitspanne grafisch darzustellen.
Die Daten kommen aus der MtGox-Streaming-API für das Paar BTCUSD.

Coole Sache, aber ich steh grad aufm Schlauch: Jeder Bitcoin der von jemandem gekauft wird, wird von jemand anderem verkauft. Warum steht da 1933.46 bought | 541.28 sold?

Hier eine Antwort aus einem englischen Post zu der Frage:

How is there ever a difference between the number of bitcoin sold and the number bought?  How is this calculated?

Bitcoins sold is when a standing bid order is being sold into (price goes down), and bought is when asks are being bought into (price goes up). In both cases bitcoins are being bought and sold ofcourse, but the difference is direction and the one taking action.

Sollte glaube ich die Diskrepanz zwischen sold/bought klären.

Korrekt. Da gab es auch einiges an Klärungsbedarf im englischen Thread. Ich stand da anfangs auch auf dem Schlauch in welche richtung die orders gehen, aber so wie es jetzt ist passt es
