But seriously if it takes 3-4 weeks from China for you to get your Batch 1 order (internationally) and you're at the end of the queue, yet another is in China and at the start of the Batch 2 queue (i.e. domestic delivery) it would seem obvious, no?

TBI I'm a bit PO by all these whiny 'I want my Avalon' posts; it takes as long as it takes and if you couldn't afford to risk the money then it's a bad investment.  Even if the difficulty doubles (from now, as opposed from when you ordered) before most of us get ours delivered it's still a ~1-2 month ROI which is unheard of in most investing circles.

(FTR I'm still waiting on a Batch 3)

The answer is down to couriers and customs, especially as they are shipping with PSUs included. It would be a lot less headache if they weren't.

Trust me from someone who has paid for expedited shipping for couriers many times before - it's not a guarantee of express delivery if customs are particularly useless and customs are often particularly useless. By that I mean with respect to informing people that they have hijacked their delivery. Power supplies is just the excuse they need.

Avalon can't complain to the courier until a certain period has passed - 45 days *i think*.

I'm not an Avalon customer, but from what I understand that is the reason.

Avalon can't issue a second unit until they have confirmation of a loss or a return.

In hindsight they should have sold the item without a power supply.

Just wondering, what's the problem with customs and power supplies? Heard it's an issue with them but how so?

I believe it's health and safety, different electrical standards perhaps? Never an issue for laptops though...

No i dont think this is a custom issue that means that the oder batch 1 order wood be d-laid to .
and all the batch 1 pictures i have seen on the forum have been delivered with a psu.
My problem is how is it that batch 2 units are already getting where ther supposed to get
be 4 the batch 1 has finish shipping that can only mean 2 things  the order has not ship yet or it got lost
and seaming its dam near impossible to get in  contact with avalon how are you as customer to know whats going on are suppose to sit and wait  a year long and hope the units appear
