I bought a small amount of LTC last night because its become to expensive to convert fiat into BTC just to use it to buy altcoins.  I'm debating whether I want to hodl the LTC I have for now or maybe buy something like ARK or OMG.

After the successful implementation of Segwit in BTC, LTC loses one of its core advantages but still these days it was riding well with the growth of BTC
Litecoin still has another advantage, it is community is not divided, most people prefer core, but some are in favor of bitcoin cash and some prefer the next fork that is coming in the form of Segwit2x, so the unity of its community is something that could make litecoin a very strong coin in the future.

To be honest, just about anything compared to BTC over the last several weeks will appear to have fallen.  BTC's consistent rise these last few weeks has been amazing and comparing other coins to it right now isn't really fair.

It will be up soon, September, first week....  Kiss

What will happen in September to LTC?

Why? What is so specially about September to LTC? Are you thinking because of the Segwit activation around 2nd week of this month, people are going back to LTC in September and dump bitcoins? I don't think so? I believed that LTC has a good future, but people now are overlooking it and would rather get BCC or ETH as investment. LTC has been here for long but I haven't seen it get the proper recognition that it deserves. I even don't know if it can reach $50 at the end of the year. And it is falling because people are buying bitcoin now in anticipation of a price hike once Segwit has been activated.

I do not think LTC will gain much more against bitcoin it is already so high People do not really see it as the number 2 to bitcoin anymore ethereum has stolen that spot from it and now ltc is just the bitcoin alternative? but with bitcoin cash now LTC is not even that anymore

LTC is one of those coins that stay stable for several months, then shoot up like crazy. I suspect people dont want to keep their money in LTC for so long when there are so many sweet opportunities around. WHy would you freeze your money in LTC now? I'd rather buy something like Tenx, CVC, OMG.

I'm not really worry about LTC falling price, i guess everyone dump LTC just to get BTC and then sell to fiat. In few months LTC price will climb back to good price. LTC also have huge community and mass adoption in web commerce, there are only BTC, Ethereum, LTC, and doge(small percent) that accepted as a payment. It's better to get natural growing. Btw what 's your opinion if litecoin have smart contract feature?

Coblee once mentioned the possibility of adding smart contract feature to LTC, few weeks ago.

Not sure how it's going. Let's wait.
