LTC has pros and cons. It is one of the most well-established cryptocurrencies with a history of relatively good price stability. It's one of those cryptocurrencies that can be ignored for years and then finally gets its due recognition. For the time being, the upgrades to BTC will give it competition, but it can be viewed as a cheaper alternative to BTC. Plus I hear it's very popular with China, a rising economic powerhouse.
Charlie Lee, the lead developer, has a stellar reputation, and will be working on LTC full time from now on.

I believe not, but of course only my opinion. For me, ltc has low supply and demand, also nothing news speculation comes up. We all know without supply, demand, and news, coins will crash ( scam ). LTC price action and volume has lower than before, make trader/ investor lost their faith and replace their money with another coin. Need more time and news for ltc and maybe until the end 2017, the price is just like today. Good luck with your ltc and have a nice day. |

ltc is so sad. there is no technical or fundamental reason for it to rise. it increased enough and too much in the last pump from 5 to 50, I do not expect anything bullish soon

I expected it to have gone up a bit more after it got segwit but it never went as far as I thought. No doubt it will go up as it follows bitcoin in being accepted more in the mainstream.

Based on the coinmarketcap chart we see that LTC has undergone three major price hikes that have raised the LTC from $ 4 to $ 56 in the last time, and now its price is somewhere between $ 40-45, which is a good price. LTC is an extremely valuable asset for technical analysis. Prices can rise or fall, fluctuate at any time but there is little possibility that prices will fall below $ 23. LTC is a solid coin there is no point in worrying about such a thing litecoin is going to give you profits in the long run, not many coins can say that so if you are comfortable with the price you can buy some LTC now and enjoy your profits later in the next months. |

I am not seeing or hearing any news about LTC right now. I do not think there will be a movement for it. But LTC is a good coin, maybe you should hold a little more longer or buy more for future.

LTC had a stable upturn since march. It was worth around 7$ this year (or even less?) and stopped at forteeth as bitcoin shoot through hardfork, so I think, LTC will stay stable on around 40 and then raise again.

When they say 'it's dead', 'no news', 'boring', that's your time to buy, when they same 'moon', that's your time to sell. It's a though game to play, litecoin is a solid bet, less riskier than other shitcoins. |
