Unfortunately, there's no system that can prevent this from happening.  It's probably a large group of people who registered for the ico.  Oh well, things happen.  I'm just happy I was able to max out on my ico participation.  It looks like ZRX is smoking hot.  Price is going through the roof and it's not even on a large exchange yet.

Looking at the bid/offer numbers on ED, it seems like someone is hard at work trying to pump it up for a quick profit.

I missed this one, but anyway, I don't really care for the guerrilla style ICOs.

The project itself is similar to Lykke.

You cannot completely avoid it but this system is well working and now there is great coin distribution. That does not matter for real whales, they will buy it either way.

Their model only served to artificially pump up the token price by restricting availability and supply.
