No. The main reason is that the major pumps have already happened, from 1k to 2k and 2k to 4k, etc.

It is going to keep getting harder for us to double the price. And currently we are struggling to even keep up over $4k.

This is true with anything when it is overbought and btc is indeed overbought right now. People seem to be just going crazy every single day for some reason, buying when the price has already risen 30% in the day. A correction is going to come much bigger than the current one, imo. And that will slow down growth quite a bit.

I think that $10k is very very likely to be achieved by 2020 when the next halving comes, though. I'm still in bitcoin for the long run, for sure.

Do you think that BTC can price $10,000 in 2018?

Well, it's not impossible for sure considering the fact that BTC has indeed 10x in value in the past 12 months.

However, if i were to bet on it i would definitely bet on it not happening because it's just simply too high of a target to achieve. To get there we'd have to break a lot of mental barriers(every single thousand dollar barrier is a big one to break).

Plus since we've come this far already i reckon we'll see some bearish market activity for around 1-2 years. This doesn't mean that pumps won't happen, it'll just mean that market will be bearish in general. But who knows, maybe fiat collapses next year and SHTF, everyone switches to using bitcoin. Nobody knows, but these events are of low probability.

nope. it would be more possible if bitcoin reach $5000 by the end of this year and quarter of january 2018 bitcoin would probably hit atleast $7000 barrier. if the demand will increase more by the end of this year bitcoin would easily reach $10000 but right now demands are slowly decreasing as you can see bitcoin price is out of $4000 again.

thats true 5000$ before end of the year 10000$ maybe reach bitcoin in the 3rd quarter of the year 2018 but depends of movement of currency or the demand of the bitcoin.

By practicality bitcoin will for sure reach $5000 by 2018 and I myself would pray and hope it will also reach $10,000 by the end of next year too. It would be a huge jump from its current price now but anything is possible in the cryptoworld. And bitcoins price is unpredictable so that's not impossible to reach.

Bitcoin will cross $5000 this year only. Bitcoin has so far stayed in uptrend in 2017 and this trend will only accelerate in 2018. Bitcoin this year reached from $1200 to $4000 so far and will easily touch $6500 if there isn't any bad news. This means we will see a lot higher price than $10000 in 2018. In 2018, demand will further increase.

Currently it looks like BTC is enjoying it's price around $3800-4200. There were few dips in the past couple of days because of BCH's rise and because of lowering it's difficulty some miners shifted to bch chain. If the market conditions are right then quite easily we can soar to that kind of price.

However what i think is most likely going to happen is that we will see a stabilizing of price after this year, because the pumps can't just keep coming forever. Every big pump needs to have a few years in between to recover.

2018 and 2019 are going to probably be just sideways movement, just like 2014-2015 was. However, if this pump continues and a bubble is formed then sure, $15k is definitely possible next year. But it's not going to stay above $15k.

And we are currently in the stage right after a very big pump. People were buying like crazy but now it has slowed down quite a bit. I think that we should expect 2018 to be not as good as a year as 2017 has been to us so far.

I'm not saying that it's impossible, though. Anything is possible with btc, it's just that such big rises do not happen consecutively.

There is a probability though that the price of BTC will rise to $5k this year, and stabilize around that mark next year. Definitely not $10k, though.

Let's assume that everything goes well, i still don't think that we will be able to achieve $10k by the end of next year. We'd be lucky if the price just stayed the same as it is right now because we are most likely in a bubble at the moment, and it could crash, and there is no denying it.

I think that the price will stabilize at around $3800-4000 in 2018. It's probably not going to be a crazy growth year for bitcoin like we have seen this year, but hopefully everything goes alright and the price at least holds up reasonably well.

As i said, i am extremely bullish for the long run still. I'm not saying btc is dead, or anything like that. BTC is alive and well, and will thrive. We just need to give it a bit more time than just a year.

Honestly for me personally i haven't thought the bitcoin price will reach $10,000 in 2018 later. Seen from the developments or price movements of the moment, it's seems too high i guess, at least as high as $7000 may be possible. It's because of the ICOs we see everywhere, it seems. Yes, a major correction is due, but after that, the price would stabilize again. I still see a rise in the long run.
