Sure BUY ONE. You of all people deserve their scam.

Or maybe look at FOXMINERS scam and continue the blathering about it there.

Hey at least I'm not subsidizing my 'low mining rates' by ripping off dust miners.  It's become abundantly clear why people on Kano's pool defend the theft of other peoples money... he's buying you off with it!

Yeah, yeah, keep up the lies jack-off.  No soup for you (i.e. ignore) dufus.

What lies?

Fact:  People with high hash rate miners pay roughly 0.9% on Kano's pool.

Fact:  People with low hash rate miners pay up to 100% on Kano's pool

Fact:  To date, Kano has failed to pay out over $72,000 USD in BTC 'dust' payments.

Allegedly, a Bitmain rep offering to sell me one because my order for an S9 got screwed up and apparently they won't be making any more S9's.  It all sounds very fishy to me, but that was obvious as soon as Bitmain was involved.

S9 - 14th 1600w
S9++ 75th 1200w

Please explain how ANYONE looks at those numbers and goes "yea the ++ might be real"

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

No it is not real.  If it were real   it would be far more expensive then 3000.

and to any one attacking him  about this  you should as it is dumb.

But his dust complaint is not that dumb. 16 btc  in dust is a lot of money.

what happened if btc goes to 9999  it is then 160,000  usd.

and 0.30 plus is being held for 1 person due to kano failing to properly design his website and allow a miner to mine without an address.  for an entire month until the coin grew to .30 btc

I don't understand why I am the only long time miner on kano's pool speaking out that the 0.30 btc not paid to the miner but tracked and held by kano is wrong and it further compounds the 16 btc or maybe 15.7 btc held as dust.

BTW all off topic for this thread which is pretty much a thread on a miner that does not exist and if it did no one would be selling it for only 3000.

Hey I agree, it does not sound real.

That's why I created this thread and labeled it 'RUMOR', not 'OMG NEW AMAZING WOW'

Talk is cheap so time will tell.

The previous escalation of hash power per new version of Bitmain miner would seem to indicate that 14 -> 75 Th/s is... an extremely big jump but not entirely outside of the realm of possibility.  S5 -> S7 = 410% increase, S7 -> S9 = 300% increase,  S9 -> "Bigfoot" = 500% increase.

So it doesn't seem completely impossible.  Also, they're about due for a new model, based on previous release schedules.

[/quote5

they will no longer be based on the old new miner every 9 month schedule .

basically when the s-1 came in dec 2013 it was a 55nm chip  and intel had 22nm chip  like the i5 4570t in june of 2013  so s-1 was far behind

http://ark.intel.com/products/75045/Intel-Core-i5-4570T-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_60-GHz

in fact the i5 2500  came in 2011 and was a 32nm chip  so  the s-1 was really far behind

now the s-9 is a 14/16nm chip  the intel i5 -6500  is 14nm

http://ark.intel.com/products/88184/Intel-Core-i5-6500-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_60-GHz

so the s-9 chip is kind of in a tie with last years intel i5-6500  or the i5 -7500

http://ark.intel.com/products/97123/Intel-Core-i5-7500-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

so until intel  is doing the i5-8500 or the i5 9500  bitmain got no shot at newer gear.

Past history of the speed increases and model releases is irrelevant. It is all about the current cutting-edge node size and for miners that is going to remain at 14/16nm for at least another year if not longer.

In the case of the higher nodes Bitmain and the others were using fab technology that was already a few years old and starting to mature. When the jump to 14/16nm happened that was NOT the case. Bitmain and BitFury jumped in at the bleeding-edge stage where production processes are still being refined. 14/16nm is still a work in progress with usable chips per-wafer yields getting better but still a long ways from what they get from the bigger and now fully mature node sizes.

Reasons why the current miners will be around for a fair bit more have been pointed out in numerous other threads but in short it boils down to
Foundry production capacity. Bitmain, Canaan and all other miner ASIC chip makers are bottom of the queue with AMD, Apple, various GPU makers, and Cisco having first call and the lions share of capacity at TSMC and GloFo. Same with Samsung but they also make chips for their internal usage so guess who is first in line with them...

Yes 10nm is coming on line for cell phone processors but as with the drop to 14/16nm node the primary design goal mainly targets mobile devices and that means low power chips. As in 1-2watts dissipation at most. As was proven with the current chips, yes dropping node size reduces power and size per-gate allowing the placement of more circuits on a chip. Great as far as that goes provided you keep the chip total power requirements very minimal. The problem comes with Bitmain et al trying to pack as many cores as possible into the chip and pushing tech that was intended for low power mobile devices to now work in the realm of more than 10x higher power. The result is what we see with the Bitmain gear: Very high chip temps causing erratic performance and high failure rates. Dropping to a lower size - once it is viable - will have the same result unless they under-utilize the die space (don't pack to the max with cores) to keep power/temps within reason and that rather defeats the whole point.

Yep.  Scammers come up with a new one every minute, that's why I was asking about it.

Foundry production capacity. Bitmain, Canaan and all other miner ASIC chip makers are bottom of the queue with AMD, Apple, various GPU makers, and Cisco having first call and the lions share of capacity at TSMC and GloFo.

To be specific, AMD and IBM have "first call" on Global Foundries and the bulk of their capacity due to how Global Foundries came into existence and ended up with all of the ex-AMD and ex-IBM foundries.
I'm not sure if GF has ANY capacity "for sale" outside of AMD and IBM.

TSMC - first call seems to be Apple and NVidia (Cisco is SMALL potatoes by their standard and I don't know if they've even bothered moving to 14/16nm yet), possibly other smartphone makers (there ARE no significant GPU makers other than AMD and NVidia any more, Intel would be #3 but they have their own foundry space), then all the small fry like Bitmain.
Keep in mind that AMD is making ALL of the APUs for both Sony AND Microsoft - that ALONE soaks a lot of foundry capacity given console sales numbers, possibly MORE than AMD GPU and CPU sales combined.

Samsung - well, themselves first then NVidia (1050/1050ti) then MAYBE whatever is left over (if anything) for small fry.

Intel pretty much never sells foundry capacity to anyone (rare exceptions for CLOSE partners like Apple for computer-specific stuff, but apparently NOT for their smartphones).

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

They have a long track record of doing absolutely nothing and being a provider of vaporware, so I think the address is simply a placeholder like many other companies that offer similar products. I don't expect much.

This is not even physically possible.

Current S9 is 16nm chips.  The cutting edge phones from Samsung are now shipping with 10nm chips.

So best case is 40% increase in hash with same power

I'd say 20TH with 1300w.
