This is an ico project, right ? the project is based on virtual reality game, VR is a large industry and investors can earn good returns on their investments provided the team are sincere.

The project is really great, can't wait until terraform. ICO is just several hours away. I'm mainly interested on the internal scripting language and how would that play out over an owned LAND and adjacent LANDs. 2018 is going to be a pool crypto action. I'll see you guys on the metaverse.

This is one of the legit service going for ICOs. They have a proper team and they already got partners to implement and back their tokens. There is huge discounts for the early investors.

Very promising, good staff, and they raised nearly 10 million on 1st offering, 2nd starts in good 2 months.

their cap was 20m, then they upped it to 25m, but 19m were sold pre sale to some ico platforms and ealry investors, and it ended for seconds for the last 5m... so it was terrible ico yes

Good project with promising potential but very poorly run ICO caused a lot of people to run.
On the bright side, Mana has been added to liqui.

I think this virtual reality project is already exist outside there, like vibehub or others. even some have crowdsale and the result is not good, I do not know exactly, but I doubt about this project because they are just updating the exist.

It still blows my mind that people are willing to buy virtual real estate right now, but after reading Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, I could see it being pretty badass in about 30-50 years.

I'll probably pick up a little bit of one of these VR real estate cryptos at some point, gonna let a clear front-runner emerge first though

I know 3D was a big thing in the past, but will it be huge going forward?  Many TV have already stopped supporting 3D...

Agreed. At this point I think it is too large of a jump with the hardware technology, and simultaneously too large of a jump going on the blockchain with this Decentraland project.

I would have preferred to see Decentraland based on a more traditional gaming platform and use the blockchain to buy/sell items/land/characters/etc. Something along the lines of WoW with a decentralized market.

Then, once VR goes mainstream DCL could add that platform.

3D for cinema never really convinced me, but to move around in a real (virtually real) word like Decentraland will be, should actually be rather cool.

No guarantees that this will be the virtual reality platform, but if they raise a bunch of crypto and BTC continues to moon, there will be a big bank to work with and a network of supporters/investors

I would like to see that happen though it would be pretty hard for a low rep coin to become another second life project. if you are hoping for that then you would have to wait many years for that to happen.
