While reviewing the database for korebot i noticed that some users were not getting a deposit address created when they received a soak. The soak amount would be credited to their profile correctly however the address for their profile would not be pushed to the database. I am working on a patch and will push an update later today including a secondary check inside the .deposit/.address function that will double check there is an address listed for the user before the response is sent. Withdraws are not tied to deposit addresses and thus even if you have no deposit address listed when you request one you will still be able to withdraw coin. I will also be modifying the db update structure so it is not as harsh on the database. With these updates the following changes will be made:
Deposits: deposits will be checked every five minutes and then credited to accounts Addresses: address creation will still occur on first message unless you have received a soak in which case the address for your profile will be created when you receive the soak Deposit/address request: instead of just pulling the address value from the db there will be a secondary check on each address/deposit request to validate the value and confirm it is an actual kore address (instead of null value), if the address is listed as null then a new address will be created and pushed to the db before the bot responds to the request. Soaks: the soak data will be pushed to the database at 200ms intervals to allow for adequate response time from the wallet to generate an address for any new user. Backups: instead of manually backing up the database ill build a function into korebot that will automatically handle db backups on a daily basis

KORE sponsors the first live event conducted by Team BLACER. Below is a quote from BLACER... "Took place tournament organized by Blacer Limited sponsored by KoreCoin in the big Arena in Poland exactly Tauron Arena where are the most important events in Poland and world. (Selena Gomez will be there ) For this tournament arrived 16 players (including 8 invited players and 8 won qualifiers.) from every part of Poland and only 4 players win awards. It was tournament of game Starcraft2. The tournament went very smoothly without any problems. The players were happy. The tournament was broadcast on the twitch platform in Polish and German. The results could be bet on over 20 bookie sites. The results from the games were unpredictable. Because the tournament favorite Szymon Nieciąg was eliminated in quarter final, Guru was defeated by the player with nick ArT. Among the older players was also a player from the Blacer team very young because he was only 14 years old and he managed to get out of the group and take 4th place and almost got to the finals. Result of tournament: Congratulations to the Top 4 of the @BlacerTV Super Game Kraków 2018!" https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/File:Blacer_Super_Game_Kraków_2018_Banner.jpg Incredible, really cool Kore is sponsoring Team Blacer. It was an awesome event and a great picture that MikeMike posted. Here is a new pic from Karol Ribeiro from the Kore surfing team with her pink surfboard enjoying summer in Brazil. Wanna wish a great week to everyone. Cheers. Go Kore, Go BTC

A great job done during all of this 2018 MikeMike .... updates, partnerships and marketing of the first level, even if for now the market is punishing all unconditionally. I'm sure that in 2019 the true potential and Kore will emerge!

The "Proof of Keys" event is tomorrow on January 3rd. This event is to encourage people to take possession of their crypto holdings rather than leaving them on an exchange. HitBTC had already frozen people accounts before this event and the fear is that HitBTC may not have liquidity, meaning they don't have the BTC and other coins to give their customers if too many pull their crypto off the exchange. People have been talking that some exchanges may be frozen or die. Frankly I agree with this idea of pulling off what they can afford to pull off from exchanges if you can learn proper storage or holding of your keys/your coins. I for one lost lots of BTC and other crypto on a few exchanges in the past, and know others who have also. People are worried it could cause kind-of a bank run and then panic. Here is a decent video discussing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0qh9LfAeJU

Its always best to hold the coins yourself but if for some reason you cannot do this or need to use an exchange always choose exchanges that have insurance or that are know for being very safe. Here is a link for people that want to learn about cold storage: https://www.bitcoin.com/guides/setting-up-your-own-cold-storage-bitcoin-walletGo Kore, Go BTC

But now I realize that there is a lot of crime out there so do the internet trying to take other people's assets. I hope her show is going smoothly and resulted in good results.

Welcome to 2019 !
This will be the year that Kore will surf to the moon! I am full of hope with the new kore wallet that was promissed. Will it be released in this first quarter ?
Welcome to 2019! Kore's team is focused on developing the new wallet, the new graphical interface and the new secure communication tool that will be incorporated into the wallet. Kore's planning is to release a version later this first quarter, and then make temporary releases of new features, tweaks and improvements. However, we were struggling with many challenges to deliver a quality product at the right time. Go Kore, Go BTC.
