Karol got 5th Place at the WSL Rip Curl Pro Argentina



The WSL Women's QS 1,000 Rip Curl Pro Argentina in Playa Grande, Mar del Plata, Argentina ended and the Kore sponsored pro surfer Karol Ribeiro got 5th place and went all the way to the quarterfinals, she competed against Daniela Rosas which later on in the event went and took the 1st place, they were both evenly matched and Karol was very close to Daniela in the points and would probably have taken first spot if Karol had eliminated Daniela.

Next event Karol will be competing is the WSL QS Heroes de Mayo Iquique Pro in Chile that goes from may 20 - 26 after this one there is the WSL Neutrox Weekend in Brazil that will happen on Jul 20 - 21 and after this one there is the Pan American Games that she will be part of the Brazilian team and it starts in 26 of July.

Very nice! Really Karol Ribeiro went very well. We hope that in the next events she can do even better.

Karol performed really well on the event in Argentina in the cold water and was so close to taking the event and she is already training and very motivated for the next events, Karol and Silvana showed the Kore logo and talked about Kore in many countries already and they will be doing marketing of the new softwares the team is developing as soon they are ready.

One interesting point is that the Kore sponsored pro surfer Silvana Lima was the first female athlete in the world to be sponsored by a cryptocurrency, Kore is in the books forever on this one and it helps show the power of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as the currencies of the future.

Kore has come a long way and I can only imagine what's next.

I have a question about running a MN (VPS/Ubuntu), do I have to use the same
onion address on VPS and local wallet?
At this moment i'm using the VPS onion address also in my local masternodes.conf.
After starting the MN (local wallet) it says 'ENABLED' but short after it says 'MISSING'
On VPS it shows 'Node just started, not yet activated' (even when my local wallet
shows 'MISSING')

Anyone knows if there is something wrong? If yes, what's the solution?

Yes for sure. Security and privacy are Kore's concerns, and fundamental to financial applications. The user experience is important for tool adoption.

Kore daemon and blockchain are responsible for security and GUI for user experience.

As said by Mxrider420z, the basic wallet is in internal testing and in the process of improvements.

But we will continue to work continuously on the improvement and development of the advanced functionalities.

that seems to be an issue with all Masternode coins.
Our first evaluation is that KORE Masternodes have not been spoofed on the main proper chain.
We may disable Masternodes and increase the staking rewards for a period of time
till this spoofing issue can be carefully investigated and resolved in our code.
This will allow those with Masternodes to take advantage of this increase in KORE staking rewards.
We are testing this version shortly and continuing our tests on the fix wallet.
We want to make sure the staking rewards are fair.
The exploit issues are resolved.
