You become addicted to gambling when you start to steadfast to gambling. Like all other addicted to become abnormally devoted to gambling. You think about gambling each and every hour - nonstop. You will want to gamble even if you can't afford it. You start gambling my any means like taking loans off people and gambling with their money.

I guess I have experienced that before. I was thinking of gambling everyday, even when I'm at the office and searching different strategies on Youtube. And even when I'm chatting with someone, we will talk about gambling everytime. There was even a time that I will call the office and telling that I can't come to work. But I will just making an excuse and will play all day in a casino. But I now, I'm a different person, don't gamble a lot but instead focus on better things in like like my job and family and business. Lucky for me I was able to get out early and turn around my life for good.

I am happy for you. At least you were able to make out of this swamp, known as gambling. If someone really wants to realize if he is addictive to something, then try breaking his routine. There is no point in differentiating between someone who is addicted or someone who is not. The moment you play gambling, your winnings is more than your losses then the issue of addiction does not come in for whatever reason. It simply works for you and nothing more. But when your losses is more than winnings but you still kept playing, then that's where the problem is. For Mr, I play I win and I lose the moment of the average my losses is more, I stop playing.

So do you think that habit is maybe like addiction ? I think that is right. Because these two terms are tied. For example a person which is have a habit to open his PC when he go back to home and play games, he will be addicted to that.

They want to keep some nice appearence. But if they continue living this way nobody can help them and they will suffer a lot on their lifes yet. The best to do is to ask for help soon as possible and stop gambling.

Actually, the person near you will know by itself if you are addicted to gambling. They'll know even without you tell. The signs of addiction will be seen by itself. But if you tell them you're addicted to gambling, they'll listen to you as if they do not know yet.

And some can be treated under psychological treatment that can be done within few months. But people who will be under this treatment had a serious case of addiction.
We can tell people are addicted when he does this without control. Like he gamble 24/7 and almost of his life savings will be lost. The worst is he will lost his family just because of gambling. And he's not in the right mind to have decisions, like his thoughts are scattered. In short, he is so broke.

to me i think it is easy to judge that either we are addicted to gambling or not. in fact when we find it hard to stop or quit gambling then we can say that we are addicted to gambling, because when we become addicted to gambling then we find it too much hard to stop gambling. for me i personally become addicted to gambling because i tried myself for so many time to quit gambling but i really find it hard to permanently quit gambling.
